Understanding the meaning of Tarot cards in the Major Arcana is not difficult, if you first understand what Tarot cards really are. Tarot cards are primarily a set of 78 illustrated cards, each of which helps psychics gain an insight into the past and present lives of people, offer counsel and even foretell the future. It is also important to note that the Tarot is used as a means to reveal everyday experiences, common to most people as well as other major events in their lives, but it cannot create them.

The typical Tarot deck has 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards. The meanings revealed by the 22 cards in the Major Arcana should not be taken lightly.
