Yeah Barbara, you can vent all you want on this site and I will listen to you! You wouldn't believe how many grandmothers going through what your going through. It is a heavy burden your caring a tuff perfection on your soul it is and guess what...your going to make it! I have a close friend, she is a grandmother and has similar situation as you do. And my friend is handling it pretty good and yeah she still hurts and she has her moments, but what she did was...She got a life! She went off and did her own thing she joined community things she made new friends, she listens to music, and music is a great healer you know! Interesting to know, my husband and I both did the same thing with our family, especially my husband side, his family only wanted to get together on the holidays no other time, and when we did, they would be mean to us not just me but my husband too, like rude every which way, make fun of us, cut us down. I use to come home with tears in my eyes on a christmas holiday...what mean spirited people do that? Right! Well guess what we did.... our own holiday's, we do our own thing we have very little to do with them. They get so mad when they invite us to a holiday and we turn them down. They still don't get it!!! I don't have time to deal with that type of stress in my life...I have so many better things to do with my time!!! I hope the best for you Barbara, but you can't make them do what you want! It just doesn't work that way. And any others out there that are going through it to, wish all the best and the Angels to protect you every which way! Bernette

hi barbara, you now what everything will be ok. be more positive and enjoy life. you are only hurting yourself. i'm sure you did a good job raising your kids. and being negative only puts up walls. God bless you and i ask the angels to help you and you are not invisable. love you.

Not the right forum for your complaints. thank the angels for the gifts you do have and maybe more will come your way. Being negative doesn't help you at all.

I need all kinds of Angels to help me thru this rough patch. I am so hurt that I had to learn about my new granddaughter born yesterday on "FACEBOOK". It is pretty sad when you raise two kids by yourself and your daughter marries a wealthy man and pushes you by the wayside. I guess my ex-husband's wife is more important as well.I am the "biological grandmother". SHE(the ex's wife) posts it on the internet for all to see before I even got a phone call!! Why wouldn't my son-in-law warn her that he had NOT contacted me yet before she would tell the whole world on the internet for all to see?? I guess my "measly" gifts to their other daughter is not good enough for my daughter's husband's rich family. Just because my ex and the other in-laws are closer they get "all" of the grandchildren time I get to see pictures on "facebook". Is is asking too much to have a little courtesy?? We live two provinces away from each other. I raised my 2 oldest by myself for 9 years with hardly two pennies to rub together. I guess I will have wait and see when the time comes around and she finally needs her mother who has always been there for her. I just don't understand how even your own kids can cause such deep pain and this is not the only time. I guess you have to be a bad person in order to get ahead in life or have truck loads of money for someone to appreciate the love of a family member. I've said it 100 times YOU CAN'T TAKE THE GREENBACK WITH YOU TO HEAVEN!! So treat the ones you love with respect before it is too late. Invisible grandmother.........

I wish that Saint Michael would protect Belinda, Bella, Gwen, and Lucy on our trip to San Antonio and back to Milwaukee next week. I'd also ask Saint Raphael to watch over us and protect us from the Swine-flu pandemic.
