Saved By An Angel

The skeptics in the world see the guardian angels as being a matter of myth and fantasy. However, despite this there have been many stories told about mysterious angelic beings that appear out of nowhere and rescue people who are in trouble. This angelic interference is almost always welcome because it saves people from a terrible fate, such as a car accident, a bad fall, or illness.  After they have done their job, they often disappear as suddenly as they appeared.   

Are these beings truly from the angelic realm? Some neuroscientists would tell us that when we are under stress, our brains manufacture things that cause us to hallucinate. The man about to have a heart attack may see a dark angel that he misinterprets to be the angel of death, when really it is a hallucination that is the result of real duress. Brain chemicals can be produced when a person is under physical stress that could have them believe that they are hearing angelic voices, which is in turn mistaken for the protection of a guardian angel.




One of the most famous of these angels was the angel Gabriel that appeared to Mary in the Bible and announced to her that she would be with a child. Yet another famous angel is the one that asked Mary Magdalene and the Virgin Mary to see the tomb where Jesus was laid to rest and then pointed out that Jesus had risen after crucifixion.

One famous contemporary metaphysical guru is Elizabeth Clare Prophet. She specializes in the art of send me an angel. She teaches people in her book how to pray to a garden angel statue and also create an angel sanctuary in your mind so that your requests can be granted. When in trouble, she recommends the prayer “send me an angel” to rescue you.

Not everyone sees the guardian angel in the classic sense as seen in drawings of angels or in the shape of Victorian angels. Some people believe their guardian angels are celebrities such as James Dean, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. Even older personages throughout history including Genghis Kahn, Alexander the Great and Cleopatra can also symbolize guardian angels.

 I have lost two sons to car accidents, they were both passengers,one in 1975 and one in 1975.Their father had skipped out on them, after we divorcrd, but i thank God i had plenty of energy to work hard and raise all of my seven kids.Their father died in December of 2008, his sister, got the call, and none of his family knew where he was for almost 44 years.I hope he is in heaven with the boys.I miss seeing Sylvia, but i think of sylvia when i need help and i ask for my guardian angels to watch over my family.I was driving home, and this has happened at least six times, i felt the need to stop, close to a country intersection and then again at an alley way, in town.Had i not stopped, we would have been broadsided, and killed at the rate of speed the persons running through the intersections, were going.Yes, there are guardian angels, and i see coins in odd places,every day and other nice little things, such as a flower blooming at odd times. So i do know that my loved ones made it across,which gives me peace.Thank you for reading this.I need to know who my spirit guide is, i will go to the library and get sylvia`s book about that.God bless all of you who have been having bad times.You all have my love, concern and prayers.Please, all of you pray for me to get rid of negative energies that seem to surround me, thank you all.

 I will always say to my angel/guide to nourish me and nurture me througout the rest of my life, whether it be peaceful or stormy. Help m to weather the times ahead and to stay on the straight and narrow. And when my faith fails me, when I no longer want and deny God and the angels of which many I know I still have, never leave me and never judge me and please will you arc a never-ending rainbow of varied-colours as my shield from the evils that walk the planes of existance and when my spirit is down and out, help to pick it up and get it back on the move and back into play. Lead me across the river as you cast the suns halo and reflection upon me and don't let the moon be too far away as well as the star/planets that so wisely guide me and strengthen me to be what I have to be, throuout the eoans of this life and into the many more lives I have to seek.  i belive in gardian angels, my angle has saved me so many time,i cant even count.i have found out that my angel is Gabriel.. he's given me dreams that lets me know what is going to happen that will change my life dramatically.i have never seen my angel but i know he is always there.i have also been given an angel.my baby girl who had passed at 5 months old.she wasnt sick they couldnt find anything wrong with her, thats how i know she had to be an angel. she even did things that a baby at her age shouldnt be doing just yet.so if there is anything else you can tell me about my angel, please let me know.

 @Dartz: I looked it up, but the Angel doesn't get mentioned by name. You know, if you like stories about Angels, the book Angel over my Shoulder is really good. It details a lot of tales about guardian angels helping people out.
