Clairvoyant Dreams
Clairvoyant Dreams Dreams, interpreting your bad dreams, learn what they mean! Find out now FREE! The interpretation of dreams is a field of study that is practiced on countless levels and carries with it just as many disagreements over methodology, study guidelines and eventual conclusions. The elusive nature of dreams was an obsession for Freud, our modern-day Sophocles and the founder of psychoanalytic theory. His research on the subject, using himself and his patients as core study targets, is an integral part of an ever-growing library of today’s theory on the subject.

Freud did not define what today’s scientists and theorists still cannot agree upon, and that is the nature of what can be called “clairvoyant dreams.” This is a dream in which the dreamer sees an event that later “comes true” in real time. It is certainly a very difficult measurement to make without incorporating a good deal of skepticism. For example, clairvoyant ability is known to exist in certain individuals, but if this ability were determined solely by dream activity, then perhaps billions of people would have to be considered “clairvoyants” because that many people would claim to have once dreamed an event that took place later in real time.

So is it coincidence if, say, you dream that a famous person has died and it’s announced on television the next day? It’s virtually impossible to know for sure. But in a sea of indefinites, maybes and don’t-knows, for your own purposes you should always seek the truth wherever you can find it. In the case of clairvoyant dreams, the truth will usually lie somewhere in your own experience and your mind’s memory of the experience.

The science of dream interpretation has come as far as to reach a general consensus on one point at least: the best interpreter of dreams is the dreamer, followed by those close to the dreamer, perhaps just one or two people. This group is in the best position to determine a plausible explanation for an individual’s dream. So what may be considered a clairvoyant experience could also be a way for the individual’s unconscious to communicate something quite different – this is often called an “anxiety dream” and may very well prove to contain a prophetic event.

If you experience a clairvoyant dream, for the purpose of your analysis is useful to avoid on of the principal myths of dream interpretation: that of the opposites being a sign of the truth. That is, whatever occurs in your dream is a clairvoyant signal that the exact opposite will occur in real time. This is, as with so many other notions around dreams, a faulty theory and should only serve to block your efforts to understand.

But on the other hand, don’t rule out that you may very well possess psychic ability, at least on some level. But keep in mind that clairvoyants are known to have dreams just as complex and elusive as yours – the difference is that the dreams occur for them in real time, not just in dreamtime. But always keep a pen and pad handy, and happy dreaming.

Dreams of winning lots of money means that you're selfish, lazy, and negative. Something that you really need to work on. Basically, it's telling you to get a life.

In many of the ancient societies, including Egypt and Greece, dreaming was considered a supernatural communication or a means of divine intervention, whose message could be unravelled by those with certain powers. In modern times, various schools of psychology have offered theories about the meaning of dreams.

Lilian I just had that dream about two days ago. I dreamt that I won a million dollars. I have never had a dream where I won any money and have neither won any in real life. It was so unbelievable that through out the dream I had a feeling that it wasn't real. Winning a million dollars seemed unreal even in my dreams.

Clairvoyant seems to be a pretty deep term to me. Actually I have to look at the dictionary to find what it means. I think the last line is right, you should not really weigh a lot about these dreams. Anyway it is just a dream!

I had a dream a couple days ago that I can't understand. I was in my science class in high school doing an experiment and when I looked down at my left palm I saw the word pendergast burning in flames in my hand. It was weird because I felt no pain or fear but it was just there. I have never heard of this word and when I looked it up, I couldn't find anything that related to me.
