Interpreting Your Bad Dreams
Meaning of Bad Dreams Dreams, interpreting your bad dreams, learn what they mean! Find out now FREE! If you are having bad dreams, it is not necessarily an indication of a bad omen or similar problem. It is more likely that a bad dream is stimulated by digestive problems or medical conditions. As Freud says, sometimes “a cigar is a cigar” and, in other cases, the nightmares that you face in your dreams are very real.

Most bad dreams are triggered by fears of one type or another. Also, the symbolism in one bad dream can sometimes mean the opposite. For instance, if you dream of someone dying, it might actually mean they are going to recover from an illness. The same thing goes for falling dreams, which is another dream common to all.

Of course, there are some bad dreams that are prophetic. These dreams foresee a death or other problem. However, you can never be completely sure of the accuracy of these dreams. If you do have a really bad dream and can’t seem to get it off of your mind, then you might want to consult a psychic who specializes in dream interpretation. Yet another option is to consult one of the many dream dictionaries that are online, including here on SpiritNow.com.

Not everything is based on psychic interpretation. It is also very possible to have a bad dream about something in your life that makes you very anxious. This anxiety turns up in your dreams as a symbol of that anxiety.

If you have a new dream and it is especially bad or if it is repetitive, you need to realize that it usually symbolizes some kind of unresolved issue – either in real life or in your subconscious mind. Sometimes you can be trained in the art of how to dream lucidly so that you are more aware of what stage in your dreaming that you become so terrified.

One way to get over the terror of dreaming so that you don’t have the nightmare stay with you all day and ruin your mood is to think of them as dream movies. Think of the nightmare as a series of dream pictures that you would not ever pay to go see again or picture the dream moods as individual television channels. Tell yourself next time you have a bad dream that you will change the channel.

I had a scary dream a few days ago. I was on a cruise ship with my family and we were having a good time for the most part. Then my sister and I were walking through one of the halls of the ship and smoke was coming out of one of the doors to a room. We decided to run to the upper deck and overheard two men that were freaking out because they forgot the life boats. There was a helecopter on top of the ship and he climbed on top and was looking for something. When he got down and left I told my sister to stay there and I went up to see what he was doing. When I came back down everybody dissapeared. There was one woman there that I think was dieing and she was vomiting and even though I was across the room it was still splattering on me. It was so gross. Its true that when you are overwhelmed you can have crazy dreams..I was really glad when I woke up!

My husband is dreaming about friends and relatives that have passed. He is really worried and I am too. He is 65 years old. He has not been feeling well, has several health problems, his knee is hurting, he has trouble finishing breathing, and he looks very tired all the time. Unfortunatelly he lost his job and lost his health insurance. Do you think that these dreams are telling him something? Please answer my questions, I am really worried. Thank you in advance. As you say in your article, bad dreams can be medical in origin. Sometimes they are the result of a Vitamin B6 deficiency. Any doctor can tell you that medications cause altered body chemistry or may deplete vitamin or mineral content. I told a neighbor about this. She had been in the hospital and was taking a lot of medication and after she tried B6 her nightmares stopped immediately. It's only a suggestion but worth a try for some. It's a good idea to run this past your doctor first. My experience is that if I take one low dose tab with dinner, I have no bad dreams. I learned about this from a doctor who specialized in body chemistry. Leah
