Prophetic Dreams
Prophetic Dreams Dreams, interpreting your bad dreams, learn what they mean! Find out now FREE! Ever had a dream come true? No, not an ambition, a life’s goal, or an elusive love captured, not any of those kinds of dreams. Have you ever dreamed something you did not clearly understand, only to witness or hear about it played out in real time? Known as a prophetic dream, a lot of people have had this experience more than they would care to admit. Most will shrink from further investigation. And just as it’s a common thing for someone to spend hours telling friends about a dream that came true or a “cool nightmare.” It’s just as common for the same person to clam up and say nothing following a prophetic dream.

But what if you’ve had this kind of prophetic dream, perhaps more than once, maybe even on several occasions, and you’d like to do something about it? In a prophetic dream, situations are playing out and you’re receiving all the information, yet you have no clear idea why. Wouldn’t you think it might be worth asking a few questions to maybe get a few useful answers behind this phenomenon?

It’s said that everyone carries psychic ability to different degrees. For some, signals and portents are received at a rapid pace, both during and after sleep periods. For others, the ability is blockaded almost completely, only showing itself during deep sleep periods. Receiving information, especially of a distressing nature like an illness or death of someone close, will be especially devastating to the blockaded person. Often the most psychically blockaded people are prone to avoiding the issue and shying away from confrontation with their premonitory abilities, so sudden shifts of this nature can have the effect of shaking up someone very badly.

For those wishing to break the patterns of blockade followed by the blindsiding of prophetic dreams, entering courses in meditation may prove to be a fresh start towards a more open psychic and emotional receptor system. People with a well-managed psychic ability know what it means to “tune in” and “tune out” for real – that is, they are able to manage the psychic process to the point that they lose their fear of a sudden incoming prophecy offensive. However, if you are blockaded, and you begin to make steps to give your unconscious a “tune-up”, it’s very possible that your prophetic dreams, when they occur, will begin to lose their code and symbols and relay clear and concise messages.

All it takes is a step in the right direction. In this case, it is the direction towards a clearer understanding of what lies beneath your conscious thoughts. And who knows? You may stop dreaming altogether. Sometimes no nightmare is a beautiful dream.

I have had prophetic dreams since I was about 8 years old. I first noticed it walking through a department store with my parents. I had a dream the night before about walking through a department store with my family and was eating a piece of candy. I looked at it in my dream and the jellies were in a specific pattern. The next day, my father handed me a piece of candy. I stopped looked at it, flipped it over, and went white. I stopped my mother and showed it to her and described the dream. She believed me and we talked about it as years went by because I would have sleeping dreams and awake dreams that would come true. The stronger the waking ones would get, the more they came true. I don't have them all the time, but I do know when they have meaning. A few years ago, I had a dream that I was getting out of the hospital and getting into a car with a male friend. Now, I didn't know the guy in real life, but in the dream, I seemed to know him well enough to think he was my boyfriend. I also was not myself in my dream, I was a friend. We were driving a white car and I was a passenger in the car. We were going down a 2 lane paved road and not going too fast. Suddenly up ahead was a brown bronco style truck coming at us. He was driving very fast and in our lane. I screamed hitting imaginary breaks and clutching the dash board. I watched in slow motion as my boyfriend turned the wheel and we veered to the right smashing into, I don't know what. I lost some conscienceness and the boyfriend was holding me crying, "your not dead!" over and over again. I told this dream to several people and told them that I knew this to be so real feeling and that the girl I was dreaming as myself had died. About a few days later, my girlfriend, who was the girl in the dream, called me and told me that she couldn't get the number 23 out of her head. I told her that it had some significance and that maybe just telling me had a purpose, that maybe it was a date. 23 days after having the dream, which was on the 8th of that month, there was a terrible accident. My husbands cousin was killed when the brown bronco her boyfriend was driving was hit by a white car in a head on collision. When family was contacted about what happened, everything that I said, including how he held her and cried out that she wasn't dead happened. The only difference was that the cars were reversed. The passenger of the white car survived. (By the way, my girlfriend had the same color of hair as my husbands cousin.) And I want it known that I was not close with this girl, I had only met her once about 15 years before the accident and she lived over 600 miles away.

This is all so very interesting! Never knew that so many people have prophetic dreams. Have had them all my life and they appear to be fine-tuning themselves as I get older. At the risk of appearing 'strange' I have had dreams where deceased relatives, friends, or strangers come and speak giving messages either for myself or others. Sometimes, it feels like 'the encounter' is real. Has anyone ever had this type of dream?

Ive always had prophetic dreams. But I rarely talk about my most senstive ones. This story needs to be heard. I was in a relationship when I was 22 and thought it would last forever. One night while sleeping alone in my mates bed, I saw myself in the grocery store as I walked around all I saw was bread, nothing else. As I picked up the loaves of bread to bring them home, I walked into the kitchen. As I began to walk out of the kitchen I was frozen and couldn't move as I was surrounded by every snake known to man. Taunting and hissing at me but wouldn't bite me. The snakes were searching through every cabinet searching for nothing other than Little Debbie Snack Cakes. I cried and cried and woke up in a cold sweat. When I confronted by ex about the dream his response was, "YOUR TOO YOUNG TO HANDLE THE TRUTH" He was sleeping with an ex-co worker who he claimed to be a friend. Her name is Debbie

my prophetic dreams have always been surrounded by employment. Two very clear dreams I remember until this day does not haunt me, but makes me very sensitive and in tune with every co worker I encounter. In 2004 I dreamed that my retail store where I enjoyed working would be closing. For weeks I observed staff including myself on Penguins River Blast in Six Flags Largo, MD and upper management could be seen throwing our pink slips to us that landed perfectly within each employees hand. That Sunday evening when all 45 employees were called in for a "Special Meeting" It was commented "DO NOT COME TO WORK ON MONDAY CRAYOLA IS CLOSED" Another dream recently took place. I dreamed I was in communications with other co - workers near a black file cabinet. We're discussing all the upper management changes and who would be be affected. After we all went back to work, it was time for staff to receive our monthly supervisions, a co-worker emerged crying due to being fired immediately after her supervision. A couple of days later the same dream surfaced but it was the CEO/President of my corporation that was fired in the same manner.

Lorianne, that is really amazing. Although I have dreams that happen later, I have never had one with exact names, color of hair and car. Mine are usually just about an exact situation. For example I once had a dream about a guy I meet at a party and we chatted briefly. In the dream he came over to my house and sat on the sofa. The next day, the guy did come over to my house and sat on the sofa.

I have had prophetic dreams my whole life, sometimes i will tell someone sometimes not i think i am testing myself. But there are 2 that everyone knows are true, i lived in another state at time, no way of finding this info out,but i dreamed my bf was living with a redheaded girl(which is exactly true)He said he was living with a roomate named Billie, guess what her name was Billie Jo, yes it was a girl not a guy as he portrayed and I knew what she looked like her car and color of it. I had a dream and thats what I saw. It was all true. Every last detail.

I used to have those kind of dreams before. I would dream of something and exactly that same thing would happen. Now most of my dreams just contain symbols and I use a certain site that contains a dream dictionary to try to interpret them. Prophetic dreams can be cool and scary at the same time

I've heard that dreaming of the death of a person actually symbolizes their transformation. This seems to be true because of all the instances I know of, no one has actually died. However, I don't know about their transformation either.

Prophetic dreams is pretty high on the "Supernatural things only in movies" list. Of all the psychic-esque things I believe in, that isn't one of them. All the way up there with God.
