When The Deceased Visits In A Dream
Dreaming of the Deceased Dreams, interpreting your bad dreams, learn what they mean! Find out now FREE! Have you ever experienced dreams that seemed so real that you were shocked when you woke up to find out they were only dreams? This has happened to many people with dreams involving dead loved ones. They become so certain that they were genuinely visited by the dead.

Those who claim to have a psychic connection to the other side say it's possible to visit with, talk with, and even touch dead love ones in dreams. Thousands of people dream of dead loved ones that seem like actual visits.

There are many explanations for this type of phenomena. Many doctors would attribute it to a seizure or a bad meal. If you are seeing dead people in a dream it is not that normal. Even some psychics who interpret dreams would say that such a dream could bode that you may die soon as well.

Many psychiatrists and behaviorists would say that a dream of being visited by the dead only indicates how much you miss that deceased individual. The dream would be a form of resolving your sorrow psychologically while you are asleep. It is a way the psyche comforts itself – by conjuring up an image of the beloved individual.

Yet another theory is that the dead do not necessarily want to be invited back to the earthly realms, but they become concerned about our emotional state. We literally use our energies to pull beings trying to ascend to the heavenly realms into the earthly planes. If you are being visited in a dream by a dead relative, it may be because you have somehow pulled them back to earth by not being able to “let go.”

Many people have reported visits from the dead in dreams that become prophetic. There is, of course, no real scientific explanation for this except that you may have actually been contacted by the dead. Usually, these dreams predict big events like a death, a birth, or a great failure or success.

More than a few people have experienced dreams where the dead appear to be embracing them or comforting them. Once again, this may indeed be a spirit summoned back to keep you company through a tough time, or it may be a wish fulfilling type dream.

If you do dream of the deceased, you need to take into account that very few of these dreams are prophetic and that there is no need to panic about the future. Instead, try to decipher the dream to see if it holds any relevant message for you and take it from there.

our mom passed on in 1992 since then i smell roses i went to the priest explaining he told me that is the scent of heaven.he added you have extra ability and you can further develoe it at that time i was a bit scared from the unknown. then on another occation my friend told me when you smell that scent that means your loved one wants to be with you and the friend said-- go and talk to your mother to go towards the light and that i am o.k. since that time i have not smelled roses again---( maybe occasionally) but not so often then before she was always worried about me.

I saw my friend in a dream that had died weeks earlier. We were dancing & I said to him, "you know you're dead, right?" And he said "yes, it took me awhile, but I'm okay with it now." This leads me to believe that he is alright now that he's crosssed over.

My grandmother on my father's side of the family and I were very close and about a month after my wedding in 1994, she passed away from a stroke. I had just gotten married and unfortunately, due to her declining health, she was unable to travel to attend my wedding. I was very upset when my mother called me a month later and said that she had a stroke and had fallen in the bathroom and hit her head and was on life support at the hospital and was not expected to live much longer. She had swelling on the brain and had only a 20% chance of living if this swelling was reduced and she had told my parents that if something happened to her, she did not want to be kept alive by machines so a couple days later, they disconnected the machines and she passed away. Fortunately, she did see some pictures of my wedding that other family members had taken during my wedding. I was very upset and I flew out of town to attend her funeral and when I returned home, my husband took me out to dinner that night since I was very depressed. That night, I had a dream that my grandmother visited me. She looked healthy and she had a glow about her and she told me that "we (everyone on this planet) are not doing enough to help the sick and the poor and that the most important law is to love God and love our neighbor." I told my mother about the dream and she said that my father as well as my aunt had the exact dream!!! I felt that this was her way of telling us good-bye but that she was also delivering a message!!!

My gramps passed in 2003. I have had several dreams with him in them. He never says anything or does much. He is just there and thats it. I remember right after his older brother dies a couple years after him. I had a dream where I was dreaming about soimething totally different and all of a sudden I started dreaming that the phone rang and I answered it. it was my gramps brother asking to speak to my gramps. I said he's dead. Didnt you know that? Then I said..Darryl? Is that you? And I woke up. It was really strange. I also dream about one of my exes alot. Especially lately. I alsways get very emotional in these dreams. I found out today by googling his name that he was murdered in 2005. I havent had contact with him in almost 10 yrs. But he is the pnly man I ever truly loved. I believe in all that stuff.

3 months before my niece and my grandmother passed on I saw them in my dreams with my deceased parents. My neice's death was very hard on me at the time because I didn't understand it at first. I had dreamed of her and her 2 brothers as they were when little and they were in my neices current color of car with my parents. I even dreamt of how my niece died in that accident. My grandmothers death was not so much about seeing my parents or my deceases brother but the fact that the voices were talking to me about the family foundation going to have a big gaping hole in it. I do dream of my parents quite often as if they were here is it real? Can I truly let go of them? I don't know but I keep marching on through this difficult life knowing they are watching over me.

I really don't believe that is true, because with me being an untrained ghost magnet, I've been having those kind of visitations, even though most people would say you have a more than vivid imagination. But on what I read, it is truly like what others have experienced as well. If you live with an open mind, anything can come to you, either good or bad. I have been having an on-going something or other with the late Andy Gibb, as well as with Heath Ledger. Why I don't know, but I just go along with it all, because maybe that's how it's been mapped out for me from the beginning. I also wonder if they also found their way to me even before they died, even if they themselves don't understand. I think that we are not to always understand and know everything but learn to accept what is normally viewed in an extremely judgemental way something that is still unexplainable and that probably will always be unexplainable. I guess that's just the way of the world as we know it to be. Thanks for letting me share my views, be it though they may...........

My father passed away from a long battle of COPD. While I was on vacation, visiting my 2 sons,he was admitted to the hospital. I just assumed e would be treated and go home. He had been on oxygen for years. My brother explained to me how our dad just sat right up in bed,and said he had "never felt so good". He didnt have his oxygen on. I stayed on vacation, being updated. The day my sister called me and was crying and said to pass the phone around to everyone and say good-by to dad and grandpa, the guilt set in,I was crying so hard I couldnt even say anything. My older son put his arms around me for a long while,I just cried. I should have gone home. About 20 minutes later my sister called again and said after she told him we were on our way home he died. I have had several dreams about him where he looks to be around 30 years old, never says a word just stares at me. Also, I smoke. While we were down for the funeral,my husband and I stayed at a motel where tou could smoke, every time I lit my smoke it would die out for no reason. This happened several times real strange. I have gotten past some of the guilt, what was real hard was he was going to be a great grandpa for the first time, and wouldnt be able to see his first great grandchild, who by the way is so precious.
