Feng Shui Pregnancy

So the pitter-patter of little feet is what you long to hear in your home? Let us make your home Feng Shui ready for your children. Learn how to use Feng Shui to achieve the necessary harmony and balance for you and your children.

If you are new hopeful parents, start evaluating the needs of your household for the extension of your family. Easy to apply Feng Shui secrets can promote harmony and Feng Shui living.

You might be buying a first home or relocating to a place that can provide you the additional space you want for this blessed new arrival. Moving or not, let’s check your home to maximize Feng Shui living and prevent obstacles to this blessed event from happening. Here are some Feng Shui secrets on how to Feng Shui your home.

First on the list is stress. If either person is stressed, the likelihood of conception is dampened. So, check the home for sounds. What kind of sounds do you want your child to hear? Is your place too noisy? Are the neighbors fighting? Humans are sensitive to sound so let’s fix the noises so we all can rest. Fill the space with soft music, like a baby CD with lullabies, to invite this precious child to join your family.

Safety is also an important issue when trying to conceive. Every new mom wants to feel safe in her home. Check locks and alarm systems, floor boards, stairs, closets, and driveways. This will insure a peace of mind and safety. You will know you can walk safely in and out of the home.

The bedroom is very important. No ceiling fans over the bed while you sleep. In the Orient, ceiling fans were made from leaves of trees. In the West, they are metal. A certain unrest can happen if you’re sleeping under one of these fans. The ceiling fan must go! So many people who have them directly over their bed have physical problems such as miscarriages, lack of potency, female disorders, and the list goes on. Achieve Feng Shui harmony by removing your bedroom ceiling fan.

Also, avoid pointed objects facing the bed. This causes what is known as bad chi. Think of a person standing in front of you and pointing a finger at you. You know how uncomfortable that is. Having other things point at you will create a similar disturbance.

Having a child is like preparing a nest. As many parents have done before you, allow yourself time to relax! Prepare without stress to achieve Feng Shui living and let Mother Nature take its course.

While carrying my babies, I always played piano to them, sang, and talked to them. I even read stories to them. My oldest son told me that he thinks that certain classical music that I play on piano he has known since before birth... (which he has!) The greatest illustration of the effects of this is when my daughter was born. She was crying so hard that her body was arching backwards, and my friend, a nurse who was there for the delivery, carried her around to me. I couldn't touch her because my arms were strapped won (c-section) but I started talking to her, and immediately she quit crying and her whole body relaxed. The doctor who delivered her said "isn't it something how she knows her mama's voice!) It was amazing.

Hey this is great. For any women pregnancy is an very important period. She needs to be very happy. So i would suggest to do what ever they want to do in order to remain happy and to get a peaceful mentality. A nice idea is to listen to pleasing music. They need to be happy so that the child inside gets a very good environment. So for that, i wish they could follow any method.

My cousin is pregnant with her first child, and she suddenly got into Feng Shui at about one month. She's been calling me over constantly to rearrange the house for her as she can't do it for obvious reasons, and her husband can't move the furniture himself. The place is a lot nicer though, seems much more spacious.

You shouldn't go overboard on safety. A mans home is a castle, but he shouldn't make it a fortress. It's a good idea to cover those plugs and lock those cabinets, but kids need to learn also that running around like a maniac can get them hurt. You need to stop them getting hurt, but the whole house doesn't need to be covered in bubble wrap.

I have two doting daughters, the eldest is 8 years old already in grade 2 and my youngest is 2 years old. She will be turning 3 years come February 2009. For my second baby I was really hard up while having been pregnant to her. I was so lazy to get up of bed all I want is to sleep maybe 24 hours a day. So when the time that my baby was out of this world with so much sweat of giving birth, I was so relieve. But I want my youngest daughter to be the last now for we can’t afford to have a baby boy for the prices of commodities are all soaring up high now. The articles are really good for expectant mothers as well as for those wanna be moms.

Thanks Patricia for those tips. I will certainly take note of them when I am planning to have another child. Though a few of the tips are common knowledge, I didn't know that sleeping under a ceiling fan wasn't good. I have always been sleeping under one. I wonder what better alternative I can use
