Last week I cleared my desk and threw out all the papers I didn't need. I wiped out all the dust from the monitors and all the corners of my office. Now everything looks clean and neat. I hope I can keep it that way. I also feel so invigorated and I am able to work much more efficiently.

I do not want to place anything on my table or desk. I want it to be perfectly clean. My office environment is so cool with air conditioned. I will have only my computer on the desk and a pen. But i do not like when others try to occupy my private place by placing their materials. These tips are really useful and will lead to happiness when followed.

My hubby's is a VP of ops for a company and the difference between his office and the CEO's is amazing. Where his office is more comfortable, the CEO's is sparse and intimadating. It's no wonder people tend to go to him when they have a problem. Strangly enough when he has meetings with the CEO they tend to be in his office!

I doubt anyone in my office can even pronounce Feng Shui, it's hardly a nice place. Layout sucks, cubical walls don't match, and there is an alarming lack of bookcases. I was once told to set off the fire drill, oh lord... I had to go back in and get some people un-lost.

My boss believes in Feng Shui (I keep trying to spell it Fung Shwei...), and to tell the truth, he enforces his "Keep the desk clean" policy quite zealously. To tell the truth, I love him for it, I hate working on a cluttered desk.

My office is kind of bland...the one thing that our office does do is they paint the walls blue and green. This color combination looks really good on the walls..but is it good for an office. Also we have these huge cubicals that even if you stand you can't see over them.

Yes I agree with the words comfort and security of the office feng shui. Comfort while working so that one can do the job easily and properly. Meaning one can concentrate on his work without any pressure so that he could perform his job better. Security, I can understand here is the just compensation the employers give to their employees. Thanks for all the information and I would really fix and clean up my table when I finish the most important task in the office.

Thanks for another interesting article. My office desk is always cluttered and after reading your article I think it is about time I begin clearing my desk and making my office more neat and inviting. I also sit with my back to the door, I wonder if that is good or bad with regards to feng shui?
