Feng Shui Plants And Flowers
Feng Shui tips using Feng Shui plants Love Feng Shui, feng shui for love, romance and marriage! How to use Feng Shui in marriage. In Feng Shui, plants and flowers are sometimes used to augment your ability to attract wealth, love, fame or better health. In contemporary Western Feng Shui, it is quite common to use different types of plants and flowers to attract certain qualities because the art has been mutated a bit to include a bit of pagan lore.

Technically, flower blossoms are not really used that much in Feng Shui. Greenery most certainly is and the more well trimmed it is the better. However, it must be well cultivated. Gardens that are full of dead Feng Shui plants or leaves are considered to be very unlucky. The same thing goes for dead wood or branches. These things symbolize confusion and poverty.

The favorite shape in traditional Asian Feng Shui is the spiral or the cone. This is the shape that is often used to create beautiful evergreen displays. As a Feng Shui tip, these spiral shapes are said to attract good Chi from the heavens and kind of funnel it down for humans to enjoy.

Flowers are not really used at all and, in fact, are seen as obstacles to prosperity. Flowers, in the traditional Japanese and Chinese Feng Shui, are actually seen as a form of clutter. Flowers that are multicolored, such as pansies, are considered to be particularly unfortunate as are bright white flowers. White flowers symbolize death.

The most fortunate Feng Shui plants are red ones, with geraniums being a favorite. However, they are not considered beneficial if there are too many of them. They must be placed in the greenery in a way that it is artful and uncluttered looking. In the fall, red chrysanthemums can also bring good fortune and money.

An exception among Feng Shui plants and flowers are peonies, specifically in pink. Peonies only bloom for about ten days in June and they are a powerful symbol of love. A peony bush that blossoms is said to attract a soul mate. Pink peonies are best as they symbolize the blush of love. White peonies are not as efficient when it comes to attracting a soul mate.

In revisionist contemporary Feng Shui, it is acceptable to use plants and flowers in the garden. One Feng Shui tip is that bright red flowers can be used to attract love and fame and can be used in the South and Southwestern sectors of the garden. Yellow flowers can be planted in the east and west to enhance friendships. Blue or violet flowers can be planted in the north and northern corners to augment your career successes and also attract wisdom into your life. In the center of the garden should be orange or yellow flowers.

Fruit trees are an especially important part of Feng Shui gardening. Among Feng Shui plants, fruit trees symbolize good health, love and thriving family relationships. Cherry blossoms in particular are an important symbol of love in the Asian culture. This is because some types of cherry trees even grow blossoms in the snow.

Feng shui or not my family and I have always noticed that plants usually reflect our health and or financial status. I had a beautiful jade plant that I set in the sw corner outside my front door. At the time I had a decent income, however not long after, my income was drastically cut and the entire jade plant died within days no matter how much I tried to care for it. Soon after, all but one of my other plants died as well. A couple of yrs ago when I was very depressed, I couldn't even grow a plant without it dying only in the first stages of growth. I do love the feng shui concept, though, and I try to live by it as much as possible.

This article is about plants and flowers in the garden...how does that relate to the car we drive? Just wondering. Was there a previous article on cars? My 2cents= Chauncey i think you should do whatever makes YOU feel good. So many people judging each other. I am thinking that can't be good feng shui. Live and let live. We all have to live our own lives. Kathy

I do not understand the whole concept. What will happen if she is gonna have the car. It is not going to bring any bad fortunes. It all depends on the mindset. If people are going to such idiotic thoughts, only god can save them.

Dartz, she can always buy a new car with the money she gets from selling her old car. Its always difficult to keep something when at the back of your mind, you believe it might bring you bad luck. If she feels that way, it is better to just sell it off and get one she is comfortable with.

@chauncey, unless you have money to burn, you shouldn't go and sell your car just because you think it's bad Feng Shui. There is only one word for such an action: Idiotic.

I was told to place money plants in the north east corner of my house because the source of water for the house was located there. Apparently, it's in the wrong place. Are these plants effective in mitigating whatever is wrong?

Personally I prefer colored flowers to white ones, but white flowers symbolising misfortune? I 've noticed that in most weddings I've attended, white flowers, like orchids and rose are commonly used.Does this mean an unhappy marriage? I would like to know if these color symbolisms apply to other things aside from plants and flowers, like clothes, shoes, cars, etc.
