Feng Shui Protection Against Disaster
Feng Shui Protection Against Disaster Love Feng Shui, feng shui for love, romance and marriage! How to use Feng Shui in marriage. Feng Shui, the Asian art of object placement to attract good energy, is very much concerned with the protection of the occupants as a home. In fact, one of the points of Feng Shui in general is to protect the dwellers from harm of all kinds. That includes robberies, earthquakes, thunderstorms, viruses, and bad luck of all kinds.

The first rule of Feng Shui is to make sure that you have a home that is free of clutter and anything broken. This is because clutter attracts bad energy. If you want to reduce the likelihood of your home ever being struck by misfortune of any kind, then be sure to clean it up. Make sure that all front entrances, hallways, and other places are completely clear of obstructions of every kind. Even the stones that pave the front sidewalk to the entrance of your home should be in tip top shape or you are “inviting trouble” into your home.

Broken appliances are considered to be very bad news when it comes to Feng Shui. A broken washer or dishwasher could symbolize a flood or an earthquake. Anything with a broken circuit could be symbolic of fire or lightening. Make sure everything is clean and in good working order.

You should also be very careful that there are not puddles of water in your home that do not belong there. Whether this comes from a leaking pipe or another problem, they are considered to be very bad luck in Feng Shui because stagnant water pools symbolize bad energy.

Keeping your front and back yards nicely manicured is also a good idea if you want to prevent bad fortune from entering your home. Messy yards full of junk attract robbers and bad luck.

It is also very bad luck not to have your house numbers placed prominently on your front door or porch. This is because misfortune tends to hit the house that is “nameless” or does not have a strong identity.

How your home is placed on your street also has something to do with whether or not you will attract misfortune. The worst position for you house to be is at the bottom of the T-shape of an intersection with a road that has cars heading right for your front door.

It is also very bad luck to have your home facing a church, recreation center, school or funeral parlor. These public places hold the vestiges of the bad luck of the crowds that attend them. To remedy this and deflect the bad energy back to the sender, you simply place a mirror in the front window of your home and in the direction of the offending building. It also helps a great deal if the mirror in question has 8 sides and is a genuine Bagua mirror. These mirrors are very easy to find for ordering online or you can find them in your local Chinatown. They are, in fact, an all purpose remedy for deflecting bad luck.
