 Dear Sylvia, First I would like to say I have enjoyed watching you on Montel for so long as well as I purchase your books whenever p[ossible.I do believe what you do and see is a God given Gift,and I am thankful I have had the pleasure of watching and learning from you.For many years I prospered well,life was good.Also I devoted myself to many causes,never once regretting anything I have done for the less fortunate.I was lucky enough to be able to sponser, Seniors,family and children services,childtren in foster care, as well as United way,Red Cross etc.Unfortunetly through the years due to illness,surgeries and my not being able to work I have had to use all of our resources,savings,retirement funds etc.We are att the point now of barely getting by,each month is a struggle.The worst thing I deal with is not being able to help others.This has always been the Highlight of my life.This alone breaks my heart,not being able to do like I once could.I desperatly would like to find work I could do from home.Each day I thank God for my blessings,Family, friends,Husband.The one question I would like to know is if there is going to be a turnaround in my finances?My husband is 63 and with the economy what it is ,we see no way for him to retire anytime soon.He aslo suffered a work related injury Nov. 2006 of which I watch him suffer with pain every day.Will his health improve?What can I do to help turn things around?Thankyou for any advice you may give.  i could clearly say that this is just an act of having a mental peacefulness. If you think, it gives then it gives. If you think the vice versa then it happens. By just having the prosperity symbol alone, you cannot earn lots in cash. You must work hard to achieve something.

 Netizen, I plan to pay off all my debts my the end of the year and I believe it is possible. I am paying my current debts by installments and I am currently paying the maximum amount of installment I can afford without starving. I won't also take any new debts. I do not buy new clothes and when I go to the store I ask myself how much I need a certain item before buying it. Its really hard when I am so used to wasting money and living a life of luxury. I am putting an end to that this year and move into my own house (which I have been building since March) by the end of September, and have a healthy saving account by the end of next year. I know it is possible and I am working on achieving it.

 I have a money frog but the coin is missing from its mouth. Should one keep it or throw it away? The person who gave it to me didn't consider the missing coin to be very significant. It doesn't seem to have made much of a difference.

 I guess for some people, having these Feng Shui Symbols actually gives them inner peace. They go on with their business doing the things that need to be done, but inside they feel they have an edge or advantage because of these symbols.  In reality, those waving cats, frogs and other that would give you luck won’t do much if you are just going to depend on them and not try something different to attract more customer. Even if you have all of those things that fengshui is saying that would make you rich, you still have to think what approach is best for your business.

 The thing about debts is that it's impossible to set a deadline. Clearing all debt before New Year is a nice thought but then one should hide away in a cubbyhole around Christmas.And that will probably ruin the new year for me anyway.

 It may be true that Feng Shui can help a us prosper fiancially, but you also need to make sure that the business you're getting into is one that you are knowledgeable about. You can't just get some Feng Shui symbols then sit back and wait for fortune to come knocking on your door. Feng Shui symbols would increase your chances of prosperity but you also need clarity of mind to seize these chances and the will to follow through no matter how hard it gets.

 I remember when I was a child that my family has a furniture business We have one of those waving cat on our store to attract more buyers, I don’t really know if the cat is doing its job but we are getting so much sale during those times. WE have to close out because the rent is higher than we can afford.

 I saw one of those cats in a store once, it's usually with one paw up, correct? Those are called Maneki Neko, which means Beckoning Cat. They're actually Japanese in origin, not Chinese. A right-raised paw attracts money, while a left-raised paw attracts customers. Feng Shui aside, you'll need to work hard for your money, it's best to spend that Feng Shui on making the place more welcoming. Not everyone wants to go into a place decked in red and black with suicide metal playing.

 I get so tired of seeing articles on how to get rich without trying....so it was very nice to see one that reminds people that they have to do something. Too many people are setting around and waiting for the money to pour in because they lit a candle, said a prayer, burnt some incense or...whatever. Yet here you are giving great advise...Create a positive enviroment, be positive and DO SOMETHING...and money will come your way. Makes sense to me. The cool thing is that creating a positive enviroment will improve every aspect of your life!

 Am at a time in my life when my finances are kind of very tight. I am putting my money in the right place, just that there isn't enough of it. Nice advice about paying all your debts before the new year. I am hoping to do that by the end of next year so that I will start the year will a clean slate and hopefull end it will a healthy bank account.

 Dear Sylvia, Our business has had some really difficult times lately - we are in a weather related business - you work when you can. There is a breakdown literally everyday. We try to be optimistic and not let negativity set in but it is difficult. Is this a life lesson teaching us to not give up on the business we have sustained for 16 years?  Yes your inner mind does help with the positive outlook...but it is hard when money comes into the picture. There just isn't enough money out there for the normal people to survive. My boyfriend and I both have decent jobs but we are still tight with our money. It's so hard for people who are single parents and everything like that.

If you feel unlucky ***you will be unlucky. be careful what you think because that is what you will create. only you can change the situation so jump out of the negative ditch (poor me) and start on making this a positive and happy life for yourself and the family
