Favorite Movies For Your Zodiac Sign
Favorite Movies for Your Zodiac Sign Sometimes a DVD makes a great gift for a special someone. However, how do you know what someone’s movie tastes are so you can give them a viewing experience that is entertaining rather than upsetting? You can turn to astrology for help. Here is a look at the movie tastes of each sign.

The Ram is a definite fan of anything that features athletic competition or has action adventure scenes in it. Any James Bond movie appeals to this sign, especially the Bond movies that star Pierce Brosnan. Romantic comedies, especially ones with a sharp, witty edge, also appeal to this sign, as the Ram is a great student of human nature. If you want to get them a classic action adventure movie, then “Die Hard with a Vengeance” starring Bruce Willis might be a good choice. “Cliffhanger” with Sylvester Stallone is a good mountain climbing type thriller that would appeal to the Ram. “The Break Up” starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn is the perfect witty comedy for this sometimes cynical, yet at the same time sentimental sign.  A good comedy for an Aries is “Zoolander,” starring Ben Stiller, simply because they like fashion so much.

The Bull loves films that have a lot of violence and sex in them.  Anything by Quentin Tarantino appeals to them.  Giving the Bull the “Kill Bill” trilogy starring Uma Thurman is a good idea.  The “Saw” series of horror movies also appeals to this sign.  Taurus people are also family oriented so they really enjoy children’s films as well.  Good choices including “Finding Nemo” starring Ellen Degeneres or “Bee Movie” starring Jerry Seinfeld. Taurus natives also enjoy really old style black and white comedies.  Any vintage video of Buster Keaton or Charles Chaplin is bound to please. They also enjoy watching vintage erotica so the collected performances of burlesque queen Bette Page. How-to Videos about cooking are also a wonderful gift for this sign that loves to make dinner for friends.

This is an intense sign that enjoys complex psychological dramas.  Any movie by Spike Jonze makes a good gift for this sign. A movie like Roman Polanski’s “The Tenant” or “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”  keeps a Gemini entranced. The Gemini psyche is also a little bit kinky. They would enjoy offbeat erotic cinema.  A movie like “Secretary” starring James Spader or “Nine and Half Weeks” starring Kim Basinger are examples of vintage erotica that this sign would really enjoy. The Gemini also loves a great comedy or satire. Any movie with Sacha Baron Cohen, Will Ferrell, or Tina Fey in it would really make a Gemini Life. The comedy “Blades of Glory” that stars all three of these talents is a great choice of a comedy for a Gemini.

Even male crabs like the most sentimental of chick flicks. This is because this is a very emotional and feminine sign.  “Mona Lisa Smile” starring Julia Roberts or “Sleepless in Seattle” are good. They might also enjoy “Fried Green Tomatoes” with Kathy Bates and “A League of Their Own” with Drew Barrymore. Historical romance also appeals to them.   A movie like “Julia,” which takes place during World War II and stars Jane Fonda and Vanessa Redgrave would fit the bill. Cancers also love movies that star animals and movies that have a social conscience. Many Crabs are a big fan of the documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, who made such movies as “Sicko” and “Bowling for Columbine.”

Leos like are secretly sentimental, so they like a movie that is good tearjerker. They would enjoy a vintage sentimental film like “Love Story” (starring Ryan O’Neal) or “Terms of Endearment” starring Shirley Maclean.  “It’s Wonderful Life” starring James Steward makes a great Christmas gift for a Leo. They also love to laugh and love. They like vintage comedy, so consider getting them videos of old films by Charles Chaplin or Abbot and Costello. They also like modern comedies by humorous geniuses like Mike Meyers and Jim Carey.  Any of the Mike Meyers Austin Powers movies make good gifts. They also like the original James Bond thrillers, especially those that starred Sean Connery.  Many Leos also like Clint Eastwood. “Gran Torino” is an Eastwood vehicle that has the type of moral backbone to the story that a Lion would really like.

Virgos are practical people so they really like how-to videos and documentaries. Any cooking videos by Martha Stewart or Julia Child would be appreciated by this sign. Virgos are also animal lovers.  They like movies that feature lots of animals, such as “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” and “March of the Penguins.” The analytic side of the Virgo also enjoys science fiction movies and particularly the work of the great director Stanley Kubrick. The movie “2001:A Space Odyssey” would be perfect for this sign. Virgos are also fans of foreign cinema, particularly if it is very stylish. Any old film by Fellini, such as “The Seventh Seal,” appeals to their aesthetic side.

This soft hearted sign loves funny movies about animals, so any movies to do with horses, dogs, or forest creatures warm their hearts.  Good choices are “White Tuft: The Little Beaver” and  “National Velvet” starring Elizabeth Taylor. They also enjoy cartoons that feature wildlife, such as “Finding Nemo” and “Ratatouille.” The sentimental sign of the scales also enjoys a good chick flick. Movies like “My Best Friend’s Wedding” starring Julia Roberts or “Muriel’s Wedding” appeal to this good hearted sign.  This sign also enjoys fantasy films to do with mythology.  A film like “Legend” (starring Tom Cruise) helps this sign be taken to another place.

Scorpios have a dark and macabre sense of humor, so they like just about any horror movie. “Scream”, “Night of the Living Dead”, “The Ring”, “The Grudge” – any of these are good choices for a Scorpion. They also enjoy Rat Pack movies including the original Frank Sinatra versions and the modern George Clooney versions of “Oceans 11.” They also love movies about the occult. “The Craft”, “Practical Magic” and “The Blair Witch Project” are all classic films that would be enjoyed by a Scorpion. A Scorpio also enjoys a good art film. “Scorpio Rising” by Kenneth Anger is a good choice of a film for them to enjoy.

These adventure lovers really enjoy a good James Bond film. “Casino Royale”, “From Russia With Love”, or “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” are good choices. They also love films that feature wonderful vistas and picturesque scenes. This good natured sign also enjoys a good comedy. The Blake Edwards series of Pink Panther films with Peter Sellers as bumbling inspector Clouseau are perfect for this sign. They also enjoy more vintage screwball comedies like “Bringing Up Baby” with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn or Kubric’s “Dr.Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.”

This wry sign likes lampoons and farces. Any of the “Scream” films that make fun of horror movies would make good gifts for this sign. They also like science fiction movies that have a bit of a comic flair like “Men In Black” (starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones) or “Galaxy Quest” with Tim Allen. Science fiction general also fascinates this sign. Solid choices in the science fiction genre for Capricorns include any of the “Star Trek” films or the “Star Wars” film. The Goat also really likes watching Woody Allen films, including both his comic and non comic contributions. Woody Allen films like “Zelig”, “Manhattan”, or “Crimes and Misdemeanors” make good gifts for this sign.

This eccentric sign loves cult films like the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” (starring Tim Curry) or “Harold and Maude” (starring Bud Cort). ny film about the future also appeals to this visionary sign. They enjoy works by such masters of horror like Alfred Hitchcock as well. Movies such as “The Birds” or “Psycho” make good gifts for this sign. They also like any movie about apocalyptic disasters. Getting an Aquarian both versions of the movie “War of the World” might be a nifty gift idea. Movies about monsters, dragons, and supernatural beings are also very satisfying for this sign.

Fishes enjoy softer romantic comedies like “Sleepless in Seattle” or “You’ve Got Mail.” They also like movies that feature adventures on the sea or on islands like “Castaway” (starring Tom Hanks) or “Swept Away” (starring Madonna). They also enjoy political satire, such as “Schizopolis” starring Michael Murphy or “Bob Roberts” (starring Tim Robbins). Any film with John Cleese in it also vastly entertains this sign as do all the Monty Python movies. “A Fish Called Wanda” or “The Meaning of Life” are great gifts for a fish. This sign also enjoys optimism and appreciates self-help films, such as “What the Bleep Do We Know” and “The Secret.”

I'm a Pisces and when it comes to romantic thank you. I can't stand "corn". And political satire? I hate politics and find it very boring. Not into Castaway and I never liked Madonna. I have a very eclectic range. I happen to like "Rocky Horror" but I also love good comedies, good drama, and some bios like "Frida", not to mention "Shrek". If anyone ever asked me to go see "The Secret", I'd turn them down. Whoever comes up with this stuff is so off the mark! Glad to know Sylvia Browne doesn't write it!

This IS so far from the truth. I am a Leo and I can't stand romantic movies or chick flicks. But I LOVE horror and actions films (including James Bond...but that's about it).

I am a pisces and romantic comedies are not my favorite movies-ESPECIALLY CASTAWAY! Boring. Waste of time. But I do love just about any horror movie along w/mystery & suspense. Everything they wrote for scorpio sounds just about right for me. I know this stuff is for entertainment purposes only but it is way off.

Hey, I'm a Sag to. I hate James Bond movies. I love action and aventure but wouldn't count James Bond in there at all. I also love science fiction. Not at all impressed with the article. It doesn't do astrology justice when work like this masks the quality of real astrological guidance. Please just go ahead and discount all of this article, it means nothing. Sorry, that's the way I see it.

I am a Sag. and the movie examples couldn't be farther from the truth. Also, my son is a cancer and I read his movie choices. A League of Their Own with Drew Barrymore? Drew wasn't in that movie. Who writes this stuff?
