February 20th to 27th Mars Acts Up! How Will It Affect You? |
From February 20th to February 27th all signs are going to be affected by the warrior like energy of Mars. The planet makes different unfortunate angles to other planets from Saturday straight through to the following Friday. It is going to be “hell week” just simply because that week simply because there are so many planets in Pisces that week anyway including the Sun and the Moon. This definitely means that people will be thinking with their hearts and not their heads.
Pisces is an emotional and sometimes even hysterical sign that is dominant and possessive. This energy is going to be in conflict with the aggressive “do or die” type energies that are going to be caused by Mercury, Mars and Neptune all lining up in the flaky sign of Aquarius. This means that many people ruled by water signs such as Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio are going to be facing jealousy, lies, infidelity and similar challenges in their relationship.
Unfortunately many of the planets in place the week of the 20th to the 27th are overwhelming and are going to have some spoiling for a fight. This will be very true for the air signs such as Gemini, Libra and Aquarius who may feel that they have been humoring someone who has been demonstrating bad behavior. Events that transpire on this day might feel like they are dealing with the last straw.
Mercury in Aquarius can mean acting or speaking without thinking first and Mars in Aquarius can mean being a bit irrational when it comes to being territorial or aggressive. It can also mean “violence for the sake of violence.” Furthermore people will be very passive-aggressive and will tend to try and escape from facing their problems by getting drunk or disappearing. Evading problems or trying to lead a life in denial of what is going on might be the approach of some signs, but especially the earth signs, that do not want to face certain grim realities about their relationships.
Mercury conjunct Neptune on February 20th means that people will only be speaking from their feelings and this could lead to the rise of quite a few arguments. People may feel justified in getting revenge on each other. When Mercury enters Pisces on February 21st the desire for redemption might actually feel like a mission that must be accomplished at whatever cost. If someone is angry, there may be nothing that you can do to make them reverse their bad opinion of you. You may have no choice but to wait it out.
If you are the individual that becomes affronted, vengeful or angry as the result of this planetary configuration than it is a good idea to take a deep breath and be mindful of how much your emotions might be coloring your opinion of a situation. If necessary take a break from the disturbing situation until March 1st and do not make any decisions about an important relationship until after that.
On February 22 Mars enters Pisces where it has never been that comfortable. People will be looking for any reason to pick a fight. It could be too that some people may be looking for reasons to leave a partner and creating a crisis so that they have a reason to go. The psychological processes that could be going on deep inside someone’s soul could be quite complicated at this time and many people will be acting out of character in their desire to have things change fast.
On February 24th Mars and Chiron, both in the sign of Pisces conjunct each other and there is a great deal of distortion of reality taking place. Chiron is the planet that rules the hurt inner child in all of us. Many of us will be speaking from this immature level in ourselves. Life, more than ever, will seem exactly as it was in high school. Beware of gossip and set your sights high, rather than low, if you want things to work out.
To add to the chaos, Jupiter in Aries makes a direct square to the planet Pluto in Capricorn February 25. In many lives there is going to be an event that “adds fuel to the fire.” Some kind of shortage, layoff or shortfall may provoke people to start blaming each other and there may be that feeling that there is not enough to go around for everybody.. For many in relationships that are quite not working out, the problems that are revealed on this day be the “straw that breaks the camel’s back...”
It will be easier for air and water signs to get through this difficult period as they are not as directly affected by the devastation that can be caused by Pluto squaring Capricorn. The signs of Capricorn and Aries are likely the most affected and will have some issues to do with employment and finances to deal with. Issues to do with loyalty during hard times may also heavily hit this sign. Similar issues may also affect Taurus and Scorpio natives and also Leo and Sagittarians.
Things do improve for most signs by March 2st when love planet Venus makes loves angles to the planet Uranus and moves into the sing of Aquarius. Emotional issues that seemed quite heavy will seem to matter less to some people. Venus will be in Capricorn, thus inspiring that sign and other earth signs to try to be more apologetic and forgiving so that emotional issues do not impede the progress of important relationships. Uranus will be in Pisces, which means that people will be more inclined to honor their commitments and remember their previous loyalties. Many of the water signs will come out of this difficult “hell week” caused by Mars, Mercury and Pluto unscathed.
However it is likely that many air signs (those born under Libra, Gemini and Aquarius) will feel quite shaken up by the week’s events. They may come to view a dear one differently as the planets may have illuminated their shadow side. The virtue of this is that these air signs will be forced to view their partners in a more realistic light which in turn may help them decide how they will decide their future.
