Ideal Activities For Zodiac Children |
Just like adults, each child born under a Zodiac sign has his or her own unique interests and activity preferences. If you have a child that you are trying to entertain or educate, you might find the following Zodiac activity guide for kids helpful.
Aries
This kid is full of fire and energy and should be sent outside to play. They excel at team sports like baseball and soccer. Kids born under this sign are not very patient, so if you are going to play a game make sure it is short and sweet like Boggle. These children also enjoy hide and seek any type of game that involves hunting for something hidden.
Taurus
Taurus children are a bit lazy and it is not a good idea to push them too hard. Watching television or playing a game on a computer is an ideal activity for the Bull child who also enjoys napping, reading, and cuddling. They excel at activities like gardening and cooking and the mall Bull children are very good at contact sports like football. A Taurus kid will enjoy doing your grocery shopping for you.
Gemini
This mercurial bright child loves to snuggle down with a book. They also enjoy video games, surfing the internet, and watching television. They enjoy games of pretend and love to be taken to see a play or a movie. Give a Gemini child a pen and a notebook and he or she will happily draw pictures or write stories for hours. They also excel at dance or ballet.
Cancer
The Cancer child is happiest when they can pretend that they are the mom and dad and take care of a sibling or a pet. They are sympathetic, considerate, and quite scientific in nature. Many of them enjoy drawing, sculpture, and taking photographs. As they love animals so much, it is a very nice idea to take a Crab child to the zoo. They also love being given a little responsibility around the house; it boosts their self-esteem.
Leo
These bright and sunny kids are very athletic and need to be put in sports and fitness programs, so they have a way of burning off excess calories. They are suited to hiking, canoeing, and horseback riding. Many of them also excel at team sports. The Leo child is a very conscious of his or her appearance so they also love to go shopping for clothes.
Virgo
Children born under the sign of Virgo are fussy, curious, and good at math. They can be occupied for hours if given a book of Sudoko or other puzzles. Mechanical toys with moving parts that can be assembled and then taken apart to makes something else also interest this sign. They also like to draw pictures of their perfect dream home and can be very helpful when it comes to cleaning house or helping adults cook. They aim to impress and please all adults so give them many opportunities, to show you how they do their best.
Libra
The Libra kid is most happy when playing with other kids or making new friends. They are also excellent caretakers of pets and younger children. These natural babysitters and nurturers are happiest when there is balance and harmony in the world. They enjoy long walks in the woods, swimming, and readings. They are excellent at building forts or other structures that they can “play house” in.
Scorpio
These intense, complex, and sensitive children need a lot of privacy and time alone. They are very happy if given art supplies or a computer and left to create something on their own. These children are also very strong physically and need a constant outlet for their energy or they tend to throw tantrums or become glum. They enjoy math-related activities, especially puzzles that can be done on a computer or iPad.
Sagittarius
These good natured kids are natural story-tellers; they love reading books and being read to. Many are talented writers and artists as well so they are quite content to sit down with a good book for hours. They also enjoy adventure and exploration; a trip to a park, zoo or any kind of attraction keeps them lively, inquisitive and excited about life. They are often the class clown and great pretenders; be sure to give him or her an opportunity to perform every now and then so their excitable energy is channeled in the right direction.
Capricorn
This is a very practical earth sign that sometimes needs to be forced to have fun. They often act much older than their years and enjoy being handed responsibility. A Goat child loves to cook, garden, clean, and socialize with adults. They also enjoy shopping and taking care of other children. Building a fort, organizing a tea party, or planning a wardrobe or décor for a bedroom are all activities that suit this a child who has this pragmatic yet creative sign.
Aquarius
Aquarian children curious, social, and have a deep need for connection with others. They play well in groups and in team sports that are not too athletic as many of them are a bit delicate physically. An Aquarian is delighted by things like puppets, so making their own and putting on a show is a great way to entertain them. They love television and also respond very well to having stories read to them and also reading stories to others. These children love logic and will spend hours creating projects with building blocks or a model kit or putting together a puzzle.
Pisces
These delicate, sensitive children are wonderful artists and very much entertained by sculpting, papier mache, sewing, drawing and painting. They also love to be taken to places where they can view gardens or art. They tend to be dreamy characters who love fairy tales and science fiction. Being born under the sign of the Fish, it is no surprise that they take well to the water and love to swim. When provoked these kids can be irritable and aggressive; sometimes they need an outlet for all of their energy such as Martial Arts or Tai Chi.
