| Picking A Christmas Tree For Your Zodiac Sign |
Decorating with ornaments is secondary to coming up with an overall concept for decorating your Christmas tree.
What should your Christmas tree look like? Here are some ideas for some Christmas tree themes and concepts for each zodiac sign.
Aries
The key colors here are red and orange, whether that is for an artificial tree or a real one. Think about an artificial red tree and decorating it with gold balls for a rustic or fiery look. Another idea for a Ram tree is to decorate mainly with animals with horns, such as lambs and reindeer. Another idea would be to simply have a glitter tree that is spray painted with snow and gold and red glitter for a unique look.
Taurus
Taurus is an earth sign so you want to keep things light. A pink tree with white lights and toys as decoration suits this sign that also loves children. The Taurus native loves food so decorating with cookies and candy canes looks nice on a natural tree. The Taurus native could also try making an entire tabletop tree out of popcorn using a Styrofoam cone and gum drops to symbolize the branches.
Gemini
The air sign Gemini needs a tree that is all about flying and what says this better than a tree that is made entirely out of white feathers. You can get these trees at. A Gemini can also live with a very bizarre symbolic Christmas tree that is made out of unusual materials, such as fiber optics or pipe cleaners.
Cancer
This sentimental sign could consider adorning a tree with decorations made from recycled Christmas cards. As this sign loves water, it might be nice to set the Christmas tree over a burbling fountain. The Cancer native might also enjoy a less orthodox tree, such as one made out of sticks of bamboo.
Leo
The haute couture of tree concepts this year is the chocolate brown tree. This might greatly suit the trend conscious Leo, who might also want to embellish the tree in cream and ivory satin colors. Another good tree concept for the Leo is one made out of a small African palm and decorated with lights and tiny gold stars or balls.
Virgo
Pure blue or pure white feathered or artificial trees suit this sign well. The Virgo tree looks good draped in chiffon or tied with chiffon in light blue bows and then embellished with sprays of the tiniest most high tech lights. This type of tree looks good in any color, but the blue is nice, as it symbolizes the Virgin Mary which has more to do with Christmas and also ultimately more to do with the sign of Virgo.
Libra
The Libra loves people and can consider a theme tree that features all of his or her friends’ pictures hanging in tiny Victorian picture frames. A tree lighted with real candles or fake ones completes the look. Tiny gold bows and decorations of angels complete this look. For extra charm, tie gold pears and red apples to the tree.
Scorpio
The Scorpio individual can get away with a very individual tree. Black and red are the signature colors of this sign and it is possible to have this theme expressed with an artificial tree and ribbons. A Scorpio can also do a designer modern art tree that is made from unusual materials, like barbwire and strings of lights.
Sagittarius
Sagittarians can make a Christmas tree out of anything, including just a few evergreen boughs, deer horns, glowing neon hoops, or whatever they can find. A nice theme for the Sagittarius is a tree that has horse decorations, as that is signature animal for this sign. The more abstract the Christmas tree sculpture is, the more of a conversation piece it is bound to be.
Capricorn
The concept for a Capricorn tree should be as traditional as possible. It should also be fat, lush, and pretty. Think clutter and layer on the lights, tinsel, and ornaments. Make it as thick as possible to create an elaborate look. Tiny electric lights that resemble real lit candles complete this look.
Aquarius
To make an Aquarian tree, all you really need is planets, stars, the sun, and the moon. This is because the Aquarian native is all about exploring outer space. For an unusual touch, consider decorating with space modules and space ships as well. For a very glamorous tree, wrap it with small twinkling lights that also look like stars.
Pisces
This is the ultimate water sign and you might want to consider making a “water themed” tree decorated with things found on the beach such a seashells and sea glass. You could also make all of the ornaments on this type of tree blue or green glass and have mermaids swimming on your tree’s branches. A good touch always for a Pisces is to spray the tree with some green or blue glitter to give it a shimmering touch.
