Madonna’s impending divorce from Guy Ritchie has opened the floodgates to more about her relationship with New York Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez. Is there any astrological support for the idea that iconic pop songstress Madonna and Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez (nicknamed A-Rod) had an affair? The media was all abuzz when A-Rod and Madonna were allegedly seen holding hands in public without their respective spouses around.
Rodriguez is a tender and sensitive Cancer native who was born July 27th, 1975, while Madonna is a passionate and center stage seeking Leo who was born August 16, 1958. It is quite likely that nothing transpired in this relationship, as it seems that her fiery nature would soon overwhelm and squelch any possibility of a real union.
It is possible that this could all be a publicity stunt, as Madonna has enlisted Rodriguez to support a number of causes in the wake of their alleged affair. She has even asked him to join a study of the Zahra and support her personal rabbi.
Rodriguez's Venus is in the practical sign of Virgo, as is Madonna's moon. This means that even though there is an attraction, there may be more of a businesslike approach to their relationship because of Virgo's cool sign when it comes to romance. This could also just be a way to publicly make Madonna look attractive if after her divorce of Guy Ritchie, as A-Rod is almost twenty years her junior.
The big connection sexually is their shared love planets in Taurus. Rodriguez's Mars is in Taurus and Madonna's Venus is in Mars. This is a solid sexual connection, with the idea of the Bull making them very physically compatible. The fact that they have love planets in this sign also tells us that it is also a very practical relationship. If they were not both so entangled with other people, they probably would make a great couple.
They both have Saturn in the fourth house as well, which is a place of physicalism and health. They would also cohabitate well together if they decided to get married. Since this is the house of home in a chart, it indicates that the two of them likely would feel very at home with each other.
Usually, if a marriage or a long affair is indicated, then the partners would share some planets in the seventh or eighth houses. These superstars don't have that kind of connection, so it's doubtful that Rodriguez and Madonna would be sharing in wedded bliss anytime soon.
