Sarah Palin: Vice Presidential Astrology |
Alaskan governor Sarah Palin is one of the most polarizing figures on the American election. Unfortunately, she has invited criticism for most things she has done. Perhaps this is because of some unfortunate planetary influences in her astrological chart currently going on in the sky.
Sarah Palin was born in Sandpoint, Idaho on February 11th, 1964. Palin's astrological chart reveals that she is an influential individual, whether that influence is for better or worse. Her youthful appearance is the result of being a forward thinking Aquarius and her Leo rising gives her a lot of charisma. The television cameras can't seem to take their lenses off her.
So why is Sarah Palin, who has so many natural positives to her character insist, being involved some questionable situations?
Well, for one, Palin may be choosing the wrong time to run for major office. Right now, Neptune, which is retrograde, and also about to go forward along with square Mars (in early November 2008) is a very troubled planetary position that is causing a lot of disturbance in general. Sarah has Neptune square her natal sun, which causes big trouble. Normally, Palin would just rise effortlessly to the top, but right now luck is not on her side. When Neptune is afflicted, it means that the person becomes foggy, lost, and unable to connect with others. It actually causes the person to be viewed unfairly, as Neptune is a planet of distortion.
Like all famous people, Sarah Palin has a stellium in her astrological chart and this one just happens to be in that seventh house of her chart. She has both Saturn and Mars in the seventh house, which means that people will always be somewhat hostile in the way people perceive her. Saturn is a planet that symbolizes criticism and Mars is a warrior energy that can even be violent.
At the time of her Vice Presidential nomination, the planet Neptune was actually transiting over her natal Neptune, which would be a once in a lifetime happening since Neptune is such as slow planet. This planetary position simply translates to mean "I can't win no matter what I do." That is also what might happen to Sarah Palin with regards to her candidacy for Vice President. If Neptune were not crossing over the stallion of planets in her seventh house (which is the house of public opinion), she might not be the target of so much derision and be taken seriously in the press.
Even though she is a former beauty queen and seems soft on television, she has a moon in Capricorn, which makes her a fierce yet fair ruler. Unfortunately, this potential may never be fully exploited because the planets are really not on her side. Perhaps the main reason she rose to political prominence in the first place is because she has Jupiter in the ninth house, which, for most of her career, had her in the right place at the right time.
We'll find out on November 4th if the planets are in her favor in her quest with John McCain for the White House.

All the millions these canadates spend to try and get elected makes me sick..there are so many out there homeless and needing help it just doesn't make sense to me. So much has gone wrong with society today that it does not matter who gets elected it will always be the same old same old, they are not out there for the people they are out there for themselves...people need to wake up and get real!

I think Sarah Palin is OK. She can look anyone in th eye and tell them like it is. She's the type of girl who would climb in tank with the soldiers and say " let's go get them !" She is intelligent and can be taught the foreign policies. I want leaders who will defend our country- not democrats-who let the rest of the world walk all over us.

I think Sarah Palin will do just fine in the entertainment world. She has a degree in Journalism and certainly has all the right "stuff". As a VP, no way, she has no substance and her as President.... give me a break. Mother of 5 Little Leaguer's and I hate the killing of animals for sport !

Wow, so true, she is getting a lot of bad press, like Geraldine F.received. I just thought it was American's feeling insecure again. Thank you for another perspective.Personally, as John Stossel so eloquently put in his report last night, it doesn't matter who we have in office it's always going to be the same broken promises. Same old promises every four years One can't fly with Eagles when one only has Turkeys by their side. E.
