The Best Scents For Your Zodiac Sign |
Most of the perfumes and incenses mentioned in this article suit all of the signs, but some of them just suit some signs better because they match the sign’s element or are simply symbolic of a quality or need to do with the sign.
Here is a breakdown of what scents, perfumes, and incenses are best for each zodiac sign. Of course, the nose always knows best, but these are some helpful suggestions especially if you want to give someone you know the gift of scent.
Aries
Aries is a fire sign that likes warm spicy scents, like cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and cloves. This means going to some very traditional and heavy perfumes like Poison. The ruling planet of Aries is Mars, and there are many different perfume and incense ingredients associated with this including black pepper, rose geranium, blood orange, lime, tobacco and musk.
Taurus
The Taurus prefers a one note perfume, like Vera Wang “Princess,” which consists almost solely of a strong vanilla smell. This earth sign is also compatible with such scents as benzoic, patchouli, rose, Clementine, lavender, and Palmaris. All are associated with the element of earth. The Bull is most likely to disperse scent through a home through the use of a scented cleaner or plug in aromatherapy unit.
Gemini
This air sign loves light lemony and fruity scents. Calyx by Prescriptive and Happy by Clinique are good choices. H8, which smells just like fresh lemons, also pleases this sign. When in a romantic mood, this sign also likes to burn strawberry, vanilla, or orange oils, or incense. Honeysuckle essential oil also makes this lighthearted sign feel sexy. Cancer

Leo

Libra
Antique, light and lemony perfumes like the unisex scent called 4711 amuse this sign. The Libra will also wear a slightly offbeat scent that has a touch of something unusual in it like synthetic leather, basil or pheromones. This is a very romantic sign that is ruled by Venus so scents such as sweet pea, sandalwood, Clementine, and tuberose are very much associated with it. Scorpio

Pisces

These are common ingredients in most perfumes and many aftershaves. They also like to burn the essential oils of these scents to purify a space. Scents from India and Africa, such as oak moss, amber, juniper, louts, and sate also please this old fashioned sign, which likes perfumes in the form of balms and rub on creams.
