The partnership of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise has always been fascinating and the tabloids can't get enough of the couple. One of the main speculations around the couple has always been Katie's need to escape from Tom, who is controlling her with Scientology methods.
So is there any truth to this theory about their relationship? Katie Holmes was born December 18, 1978, at 9:32pm in Toledo, Ohio. Tom Cruise was born July 3, 1962, in Syracuse, NY (birth time unknown).
Usually, a Sagittarius and a Cancer are not that compatible. Sagittarius is much more adventurous than clingy Tom Cruise. He is probably easily threatened by her need to have some time to herself or see people outside her marriage.
Cancers also tend to be very dramatic and blow things out of proportion. That probably does not sit that well with the Archer wife, as emotionally she prefers to keep things simple. Tom Cruise's tendency would be to behave like a real drama queen. She simply would not understand his need to take the smallest things so personally.
However, the two of them really do enjoy being a couple. The relationship works well because Tom Cruise's Venus in Leo is sitting on top of Katie Holmes' moon in Leo. This also means there is true lust in the relationship, so sex may very well be the glue that holds them together. It would not be the sexually cold and dispassionate "fake union" that the tabloids so often describe.
Also, when Venus is opposite a woman's moon, it is also much more likely that the relationship is an infatuation rather than true love. Still, Tom and Katie would be very considerate of each other due to pleasant angles between both of their Neptunes. They would be very much in sync emotionally most of the time.
They are definitely a bit spacey when they are together. Tom Cruise's Mercury opposes her Neptune, which means they are not very grounded in reality and possibly escape into flights of fancy or imaginative worlds with each other. The relationship would definitely be very playful.
Tabloid editors might be disappointed to know that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are actually destined to be married for a very long time, as Jupiter is positioned well in their charts. Another indication of a long marriage is that Katie's Saturn is opposite Tom's Jupiter and Tom's Jupiter is opposite Katie's Saturn. This can indicate a relationship that lasts until death.
The fact that Saturn is so much a part of both of their charts is also an indication that religion plays and important part in the relationship. It also means that they are strict parents and traditionalists when it comes to most family matters.
In both of their charts, Mercury crosses Pluto at a similar angle, which explains why religion plays such big part in both of their relationships.
Katie's Sun does trine his Uranus. This playful and exciting influence is probably what made Tom Cruise jump up and down on the couch on Oprah Winfrey. This indicates a relationship where the two find each other irresistible.
