Feng Shui Secrets for Fame and Success |
The Southern area of your home is the area that symbolizes fame and success. It is ruled in Feng Shui by the element of fire. When you learn Feng Shui, you are usually told this area should be painted bright orange or bright red. Gold also suits as do any type of motif that is flame shaped. Purple works here because of its symbolic relationship to royalty.
This is the best place to string brightly colored Christmas lights in red, have red lampshades, or other red decorative objects. Objects that symbolize the idea of honor and recognition also enhance this area. You could hang a flag or banners to enhance this area.
As fame syncopates vibration wise with the image of stars, you should have five and six pointed star shaped images or items in this area. It is also a good area to have items made out of the pelts of totemic animals. Tiger, zebra, and snakeskin suit this area, as does any type of fake fur in these designs. It is also a good idea to place and decorative or functional items made out of leather here. Therefore, something likes a leather chair with a zebra skin rug and red painted wall would look fantastic here. One of the most important Feng Shui secrets is that money is drawn to environments that have that flair of neoprimitive opulence.
If there is one place in your home that you want to put your trophy collection, it is here. Put up your framed certificates of achievement here. Mounting them in gold, purple, or red frames is an excellent idea. Unusual materials like velvet also work in this area according to most Feng Shui info on the topic.
It also helps to put up pictures of people who are famous in this area. This brings the vibration of fame in sync with your own vibration. For instance, if you want to be a famous actor, then hang pictures of famous actors or stills from famous plays or films in this area. Feathers have a great deal to do with fame in Feng Shui. It is very good luck to hang a peacock feather in the Southern sector of your home. If your tastes are a little less vintage and more new age, then hanging a Dream Catcher, which is a Native American disk made of feathers and leather, in that area is also a good idea. Pictures of wings, angels and birds soaring to great heights also augment the fame sector.
