Give Thanksgiving And Give a Hand |
At Thanksgiving time, we are often reminded to “count our blessings” - to be grateful for what we have. It is good to take stock of your life and feel that warm glow as you realize you have a home, family and friends, a job, good health, and other blessings. The blessings seem to go higher and higher as you start to count. “I didn’t realize I had so much!” you may say as you take note. An excellent way to celebrate Thanksgiving is not only by giving thanks but also by giving a hand to others in your community who are in need.
There are many ways you can help people or society with issues in your community during Thanksgiving. The first step is to think about what tugs at your heart the most. Would you like to help the elderly, children, animals or some other members of the population? Likely, the first answer that excites you is the best one. Don’t worry!
