How To Tell If I Am An Indigo Adult Psychic Sylvia Browne, World-renowned Psychic Sylvia Browne pictures It has been almost a century since the great visionary Edgar Cayce first identified the Indigo children and how they will be of spiritual assistance to those of us on earth. In fact, most of the Indigo children have arrived on earth and are already acting as psychics and spiritual teachers and healers. The Indigo children got their name as Cayce described that color as being prominent in their aura. Along with the indigo hue of the aura comes an increased intuition, empathy, or even telepathy.

The belief of them is that the majority of them were born in 1992. They are also sometimes called Rainbow, Crystal, Star, and Millennium children. There is also the belief that 90% of the children currently now being born are Indigo children, which will lead to a more intuitively, led society.

However, there are some of these children who were born before 1992. These are the Indigo adults. At first, they may not have realized that they were Indigo children and slowly they may be coming into their own just now after leading a life full of mood swings, confusion, and misunderstandings. The older you are, as an Indigo, the more likely you are to have been misunderstood by your parents and society in general. The younger you are, the more likely it is that you might be an Indigo child, but there are many who were born a lot earlier and currently are among us as archetypal wounded healer type psychics.




Most Indigos have had a hard time in life simply because they were the quintessential square pegs trying to fit in round holes. Many Indigo children question and resent authority and find conventional ways of making a living to be boring. They are intelligent, creative yet at the same time seem to be a bit suspicious of others. Many of them are motivated by a fierce and passionate desire to change the world. This is often referred to as the “warrior temperament.”

An Indigo adult may also be extraordinarily sensitive to the point where they make themselves sick physically. Psychically they are said to operate from The Third Eye Chakra. Many of the adult Indigos are prevented from making real change, as they spend much of their lifetime eliminating reactive behaviors and other problems that may have been the result of them being misunderstood or hurt as a child.

Still, the Indigo adult usually at one point or another in their life finds a way to tear down current systems to find a better way. They are intolerant of lies, hypocrisy, and injustice and are humanitarian in their outlook. Their ultimate purpose is to free humanity from self-created limitations that may eventually sabotage our species.

 As a native of VIRGO, I realise every description on INDIGO CHILDREN match our lives so precisely. But I think what an irony that THE GUARDIANS of the mother-EARTH have to suffer so much to get NATURE's MESSAGE delivered and assist in keeping the planet in harmonious order. As an INDIGO-KID who happens to be a native of VIRGO, I'm of a very pure HEART and never nurse any harm to anyone but I've contracted more than a fair share of worldly harms in my life-time. One can only hope there is a worthwhile reward after all the 'stormy eruptions'...LONG LIVE INDIGO CHILDREN !

 I am an aries, but always have related to the chinese zodiac, monkey. I am sure I am an adult indigo, there are few people who truly understand me and one who is worst at understanding is mom. My child(19) is an indigo, and now that I have known many people, I have more indigos and intuitives i can talk to. but it was difficult as a child and i couldnt wait to grow up and i am glad i am an adult. i do energy healing now, work with crystals and herbs....people still dont want to listen to me though lol tracy

 As a Capricorn, I guess I am very 'grounded' have always been different , however they say that attaining levels of Spirituality is tough for this star due to our earthy nature. So I wonder, if there are any Capricorns that consider themselves Indigo adults - and why ?

 Hmmm, interesting. I am not so sure that these so called "Indigo" children even exist. Each and every one of use has the ability to try to change the world in their own way.but, if there are some children out there better than the rest of us, I have yet to see one. I feel all of God's children are his, He is our Father from the heavens and in his eyes all of us are his "Indigo" children. Do good deeds, think pure thoughts and love yourself and others and praise the Lord........................amen

 Are the Indigo adults in any particular sign? The information above seems to describe most people in the Air signs (Sun or Ascendant)of Gemini, Libra, Aquarius-does anyone have thoughts on this?

 Wow i have read the teachings on this and did not know it was possible to be an indigo adult i always felt a little off growing up with the mood swings etc. now i have a light so to speak as to why i feel so much pain for others and their situations thx for the article

 OH this is me so very very much i am a hippie at heart and of mind. I also have a little power in me but i chose to block it out when i was younger and now i want it back into my life to help people.I also have the gift of healing and im always thinking of ways to make a difference in the world.I just got scared and backed out not knowing how to deal with it being a house wife for several years it's like i put it on hold. Not anymore im exploring again and when im stronger i just might be able to help someone.

 Are any of you guys aquarians I thought a lot of what is being described here was due to the fact that I am an aquarian. Wow. this blew me out of the water, like someone knew me personally.
