It's funny isn't it, how we have set ideas about 'meditation'? I remember my first reaction to being told I had to 'clear my mind' lol. I thought 'well that's me done! There's no way I can do that!". Then I found myself doing exactly that while folding the washing or cutting up vegetables. I think the key is finding the type of meditation that works for you personally. I find that repetitive, boring, auto pilot type activities find me with an empty mind and I don't even realise it! xxx

Dear Sylvia, At 47 years old I finally decided to embrace my psychic abilities. Because of you and the death of my son, I have finally accepted my calling.I feel as if God is awakening my senses because I finally get it.Death must be my life theme because it has followed me all my life.I survived Cancer while I was pregnant with my second son at 28 years old.I did chemo, radiation and I am still in remission 18 years later. I've had fibromyalgia for 10 years and live in chronic pain. At 42, I discovered I had Hepatitis C and did a year of horrible treatments which only magnified my pain.I lost my Mom, Grandmother, best friend, my Dad, and finally, my son.I can be proud now instead of ashamed of my gift and I am ready and honered to learn as much as I can from you so I can help other grieving parents. I believe the message is, negativity is the only thing that does not exist in Heaven. So we are here to learn how to beat negativity with positivity.I will teach positivity and that your loved ones are still with you. MINE ARE.Carribean here I come!

I am seeking info about my mother. Her name was dr.lori poe. she was a documented psychic and author of 5 books. milestones to God, healing mind and emotions is one of her books i have seen people seeking. I came to this web site by doing a word search and saw a comment posted by a person "Deshaun" on June 9, 2008. She said my Mother helped her more than any other person. I would like to speak to her if possible because I never knew my mother or anyone from her side of our family as they all live im Europe. So if you are out there Deshaun, My E-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org. wherever you are, may God bless you richly.

Hi Sylvia: As long as I can remember I have been searching for spiritual answers. My grandmother was very psychic as well as my Aunt, and I've been told that I have the precious gift from my grandmother. She wanted to teach me how to use it, but I was scared and didn't give her a chance to teach me. Yes, there are times I know when something is going to happen. I get it as a strong feeling. I hear whispering at times, but when I realize what it is it goes away. I need to figure this all out. Something is always bothering me about this and I don't know how to deal with it. Any comments would be helpful. I am also very intrigued about deceased loved ones. I always have the need to speak with them but I'm not sure I am doing it right. Help!

Also, don't feel downhearted if you get it wrong. You'll misinterpret symbols - that happens. Any reader worth their salt will freely admit to making mistakes sometimes. It's just like in life, you can hear or see something and get the wrong end of the stick because that particular thing has a completely different meaning to the person the message was meant for. All that had happened was you'd put your own interpretation upon it but in that case, it wasn't right. Sometimes it's easier, especially if you get visual flashes like I do, to just say what you see than try to figure out what it means. Let the person decides what it means, not you.

I think the toughest thing at the start is to get past the feeling that it's just you making it up. The only way to build your confidence is to practice with friends or likeminded people that are interested in developing too, and the more you get right, the more confident you are. Don't get too much of an ego though as you get better at it! Remember, you're only the messenger.

Diane, how did your ex possibly get custody in those circumstances? Did your son tell you this after going through the courts? Because I don't see why they would have granted him custody otherwise. You need to report it if so.

Dear Diane, What you wrote bothers me in the worst way. You have real problems there but you are not the only one in the world with real problems! No one can control ou unless you allow them to. You need to get a hold of yourself and control your own life befor you can begin working on some one elses life like your son. So get control of your self so you can. He needs you to be there for him! Even if he doesn't live with you! Don't give up get stronger mind and body. Then you will know what to do.

Hi Diane. Don't say that your life sucks. There are things that are really happening for us to be strong and face life. These bad things are given to us as challenges. We should always be thankful and just ask for guidance and help from God.
