The Numerology of Jesus Christ |
There are many subtle references to numerology in the Bible and many of them directly have to do with the meaning of the name Jesus. In fact, Mary was specifically instructed by an Angel to give the Son of the God the name of Jesus. The entire incident is relate in Luke 1:30-33.
The name Jesus means Savior, but it as the Greeks and Hebrews used a very sophisticated form of numerology to complex to teach here, it also meant several other things including “Desire of all Nations” and “Savior.” It also means “Joshua.”
In ancient history, one name could mean so many different things because the numerology system “Gem atria” took into account the fact that the letters of the alphabet were also used as numbers. This system of numerological divination was almost like an ancient code. It operates on several levels of meaning at the same time. It is a religious and scholarly science that requires quite a bit of theological training to learn.
However, all we need to really know is that when the name of Jesus is configured using this ancient numbers, it adds up to the number 888. The full title of Jesus, which is Lord Jesus Christ, adds up to the number 3168 (using the Greek alphabet). In the Zahra style, the Hebrew system of numerology it adds up to 792. These numbers turn up a lot when you study the name of Jesus.
In fact, the four most significant numbers when it comes numerology are 888 (Greek for Jesus Christ), 3268 (Greek for Lord Jesus Christ), 792 (Hebrew Alphabet for Jesus Christ and the word Salvation), and 396 (which means Salvation).
These numbers that symbolize Jesus are considered to be sacred among Biblical numerologists and evidence of God’s signature on earth. This is because:
The mean diameter of an earth is 7920 miles, which is 792.
The miles of a square drawn around the earth are 32689, which relates to 3268.
The mean radius of the earth is 3960, which equates to 396.
The number 8 is also significant on its own when it comes to Jesus. Nearly 800 years previous to his birth, the prophet Isaiah received a message from God, which said:
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son; and she shall call His name Immanuel.”
If you use the Gematria (Greek) system the above verse, the name Immanual also adds up to exactly 888.
Yet another significant number in the study of Jesus and numerology is the number 148. Throughout the New Testament, the title Savior has a numeric value of 1408. In Gematria, zeros are taken out so the number is reduced to 148.
Other significant instances of the number 1480 in the Bible, if broken down using the Greek system include:
1480 = Christ 148 = Son of God 1480 = His Kingdom 148 = Blood 148 = Passover
Yet another very eerie coincidence that is also seen as evidence of the existence of the Divine Order by Biblical numerologists is that the Israelites killed their lamb at 3:00 in the afternoon of the 14th day of Nisan, during the first Passover. Exactly 1480 years later at 3:00 pm, Christ proclaimed, “It is finished.”
