Why Faking It Until You Make It Is Supported By the Cosmos
Cosmos Psychic Sylvia Browne, World-renowned Psychic Sylvia Browne pictures Faking it until you make it is an old spiritual technique that has been advised by guru after guru if you want to make something happen to in your life. That is because pretending you are something before you actually become it is part of manifestation.

Pretending you are what you want to be is an investment in faith in general. . This includes faith in yourself, faith in the goodness and humanity of other people, and the faith that what goes down must come up and vice versa.  It is about the phrase “as above, so below.”  If you think you are an investment banker then make calls like one, dress like one and cultivate friends in the business.  Part of “faking it until you make it” is practicing the principle of “like attracts like.”

It is a big mistake to keep saying or thinking. "I am not good enough."  This is common in a personality that suffers from low self-esteem and a lack of confidence.  The inner critic insists that the individual set their sights low when it comes to choosing a partner.

"What if I fail?"  This is a terrible block as it persuades the subconscious develop a fear of rejection. This kind of personality needs approval from others and is constantly testing others to see if they are still loved after they have done something wrong.

"There is not enough time."  Your Higher Self loves cliches such as "the Universe is unfolding as it should." But the personality is impatient. These kinds of individuals complain about never meeting someone, but at the same time don't make room in their busy schedules to "get out there" and date.

As far as attracting a partner, the like versus like rule is also applicable when you practice Feng Shui. If you want to attract a husband then don’t buy a single bed. Buy a double bed with bed stands on either side of it for both of you to sit at.  Make your environment welcoming to the possibility that being in a couple again could actually happen.

One way to attract what you want is to supply others with the very thing that you think you lack. Give others the love that you think is missing in your life. Practicing tenderness, kindness and mercy optimizes your own vibration so that you attract kindred spirits into your sphere. This is part of faking it until you make it makes it impossible for there to be any other outcome but what you want to happen,

You manifest your future through power of the spoken word. This is why we are encouraged to pray aloud.  A profundity or material realization can result from the vocalization of a request. In some pagan and Christian religions, the human voice has a vibration that is thought to send a call for assistance out to other souls and angelic beings that live in the astral plane.

You have also probably heard the term “Whatever a man soweth, so shall he reap.”  This means that you need to sow the best seeds that you can in life at every turn. Entertaining jealous or vengeful thoughts is a fine way to curse yourself. The sad thing about this hall of mirrors is that very often people think they are being cursed by the bad energy from the very person they have been jealous of in the first place!

There is a lot of a power in words, so you need to be careful how you discuss and label situations. The one value of criticism of others however is that often, we tend to despise in others what we dislike about ourselves. The next time you feel the urge to criticize someone, look to see if you suffer from that very same flaw and try to correct it.

Stating that you lack as part of a wish something actually reinforces its lack. Combine this with the principle of resonance, where a wish in reinforced by the number of people thinking the same thing and you arrive at an explanation for why there might be so much negativity in the world.

Part of understanding karma is understanding The Great Wheel of Time and how it sometimes takes patience to give positive things a chance to grow. This metaphor is also true of any positive impressions that you are trying to plant in the mysterious dark silt of your subconscious. Simply plant the seed and be done with it.  Have the faith that if something is meant to be it will be and if not, then it was probably bad for you. This is called practicing the law of non-resistance. Don’t create reasons why you should not have what you want.

Negative self-talk and criticism is very damaging and we underestimate the power of what we tell ourselves every day, in our minds to shape our destiny. One of the best ways to do this is through the writing of positive affirmations.

First of all it is important to remember that you are not alone. Nobody gets through life unscathed. Everyone faces abandonment and heartbreak. However like the old saying goes, 'it is not the cards you have been dealt, but how you play them that counts'. (and I don't mean Tarot cards here, either!)

'Like attracts like.' Therefore if your heart is filled with resentment and bitterness, you will attract the same. It is the old 'sowing what you reap' thing from the Bible. So it is very important, no matter what your experience, to keep yourself emotionally clean and to learn how to separate your feelings from 'what is really going on'. Hateful emotions such as obsession, jealousy and so forth block your connection to your Higher Self and prevent you from receiving your Divine right -- which is that wisdom that is transferred down to you from a Higher Power for you to use to attract your highest good.
