Well Naomi, it appears I fuffled your feathers just a little bit. I am well aware of the libraries and their function. I have no problem with someone making an honest living, as I live quite well in Scottsdale. If you received an accurate reading from Chris, then good for you. Unfortunately, I did not. Answer one question if you can. If both Sylvia and Chris are looking at the same chart how can they give totally different and confliting answers to the same question? There are so many questions on this website but I have yet to find a single answer. I have no desire to change your opinion on anyone, but I also have earned the right to express mine. I did not say that I was coerced into doing anything I did not want to do. I willingly bought all the books, went to the seminars and laughed along with everyone else. I have never been hurt by the information given by Sylvia or Chris, but then I knew better than to plan my future on false information. As Sylvia says, "take what you want and leave the rest behind." That is exactly what I have done. You have the right to find your own truth. Good luck!

The public library has most of Sylvia's Books. Please feel free to read her books for Free! What I got from this book is: educating us through her own experiences. How to overcome obstacles, and make positive out of negative, and grow from it. Solutions, Positive Affirmations, and GOOD ADVICE. Read a little, then read a Lot, because there are more people just like her, who have good advice to give. Chris Dufresne, her son, has an autobiography, "My Life with Sylvia Browne, a Son reflects on life with his psychic mother", by Chris Dufresne. I go to the library all the time. For many more Authors and Book reccomendations, go on the internet, to "Hay house Publishers." We are all searching for answers. There are Many People who take the time to write books and share the knowledge and Spread the Light! Go to the website, and then the library today!

There is more than one area of life to balance. Family, Social, Financial, Health, Spirituality, and probably other areas that I can't remember right now. When any of these areas are out of wack/ or lacking, then we have to be strong enough to not let it get us down, or, let/or have, it affect the rest of the areas of our life. Are you ingenuitive, or are you a victim? Will you let it break your spirit, or will you make lemonade out of lemons? Haveing money (or a problem free life for that matter), from the get go will not teach you to grow, mature, or appreciate anything fully. I think its important to know where the little guy, that struggles, comes from. The rich snobs, who start at the top with all the money that you can buy with, is not going to have empathy, or depth of character. Thats my opinion. By the way, Sylvia started at the bottom, poor, and worked her way up. Nobody gave it to her. She earned it,(over many many years!) and she is humble, and continuously shareing her wealth and knowledge. I've met people who have money that look down on the poor person, and can't relate, and almost put us down. Sylvia is not like that at all! Sylvia is nicer than nice! She would never hurt a fly! She also knows where the poor come from, she herself was poor, and had hard life lessons. In some instances, money can unfortunately change some people for the worst. Making them snobby, or uncompassionate, maybe even ungrateful, or full of false ego. If you are fortunate enough to get money, just remember where you came from. My mom told me this old saying. "The poor are more generous than the rich." And its true. The poor will give more than the rich. And especially when the poor know how appreciated a plate of cookies to an old lonely person is. Or visit someone who is housebound, and get their groceries, or run errands with someone who doesn't have a car, Or how wonderful it is to have a utility bill that miraculously got paid by a stranger. A rich from birth kind of person wouldn't know how to share, unless they were taught otherwise by their parents. Sylvia helps those in need. She is made out of genuine love for mankind. To the public: If you are lucky enough to have money, then have the decency to share it, and for goodness sake help someone with it. Sylvia Shares her wealth, and you don't have to advertise all your good deeds, and financial contributions to be a saint. In fact humblness, and private contributions count in Heaven too! And for that matter: You don't have to have money to help someone either. My parents are always in poverty, and they somehow, discretly help more people, in good deeds, than you can shake a stick at. And nobody knows about it except for me. So who cares how much money you make? And don't judge a book by its cover. You don't know whats going on in the inside. What did you do with your life? In Heaven, you can measure what you did, but you can't measure the worth of money.

To evelyn. I don't even think you deserve to be acknowledged after all the backwards and false comments you just made. All I have to say is, If anyone takes the time to get to know Sylvia, or watch her programs, read her books, you can use your own common sense to know what good she has done in this world. And it just keeps snowballing into more people helping more people. And just for your information evelyn, I have had a reading from Chris and he is wonderful, and cares about people, and he was correct about it all. And Sylvia answered free question for me on the radio, (as she does for anyone: on Hayhouse Radio.com) and she told me the perfect solution, to a problem that I had been tormented over for too long. Thank goodness for their kindness. And don't be a hypocrite. Everyone and Anyone needs to make money to live. And no matter what you do, someone will make more than you, or someone will make less. Thats a fact. Being jelous of the entire world that makes more than you, or less than you is a waste of time. Work on healing your own mind/body/spirit, or other peoples mind/body/spirit. That is a better use of your time.

Sylvia, I was a fan of yours for many years. I have all your books and been to many of your seminars. I even spent several thousand dollars to spend a day at one of your salons. I can not tell you how disappointed I am to learn of the many cruel and heartless remarks you have made to grieving people. I have watched you on Montel and seen how carelessly you throw out remarks that hurt so many. The predictions you gave to me were all wrong. I spent $450.00 on a reading with Chris which lasted all of 12 minutes and absolutly nothing was correct or has come true. I wonder how you sleep at night. I also read your book on mystical travelers and to think that you have nerve to put yourself in the same catagory as Jesus Christ is appalling. Those wonderful souls such as Mother Theresa, Ghandi, and the Dali Lama gave of themselves without any expectations of fame and grandeur. You on the other hand have profitted shamelessly from the pain of others. Where is your heart? I have looked at the public records of your many real estate holdings in California and elsewhere. You have no trouble giving advice to the many who are suffering during this time of financial crisis, but I wonder just how much it has affected you personally. I see that Chris has dropped his reading fee $100.00, but lets face it, he isn't worth even half of that. Do you really think that people have several hundred dollars to hear nonsense when they can't even pay their mortgage or buy food for their family. Don't get me wrong, I still have my faith and I do believe there are a lot of good people out there, unfortunately you no longer fall into that catagory and maybe you never did. I will stand in my shoes and answer for all the mistakes I have made in this life, but I am very thankful that I will not be standing in yours.

Hi Sylvia, I read many of your books, and have learned much from you, appreciating all the advice and comfort you give and how to think in life. I love your insights. But I have a real problem. I look around and see all the evil that is happening in the world and in my own personal unimportant life. What just happened at the massacre in India is so tragic and inexcusable. God has commanded many times in his Bible "Justice Justice shall you pursue." Since God is just, and we are created in His image, we too must act justly, as He commanded us to do. But yet the God of Justice and mercy is letting terrible injustices happen in this world without intervention. I feel such abandonment from my God, my protecting angels, and my Spirit Guide. I witness such evils prevailing, while the righteous are being punished left and right. I don't know if you will ever get to read this post, or can even answer my pain and anguish, but why is God and His angels letting the good fall and the wicked flourish, thereby desecrating His own name, which makes no sense to me at all? I have always been a fighter of injustices. We love you Sylvia and I hope one day to have the great honor of actually being able to chat with you. You are a great shining light, and I applaud your wonderful success.
