Know That God Loves You

Do you know that God loves you? Don’t just push aside that thought…really feel it. Really feel that God loves you, just as you are.

God is a magnificent being, but often Father/Mother God is misunderstood and this means that people don’t have the best relationship with God that they could. God is all-perfect. God is also all-knowing. But most importantly, God is all-loving—and all-forgiving.

Feel deep in your heart that God loves you. That God forgives you. That God sees truly into your soul exactly who you are meant to be.

It is truly sad but some people hang on to the feeling that God is “mad” at them—or even worse that God is somehow going to “get” them for something they have done. These beliefs are so untrue.

I hope that you connect with God however you feel the most comfortable. Some people like to pray to God daily. Some have a meditation practice. Connect with this all-loving, all-forgiving, magnificent force whenever you wish to—God is always there for you.

God loves you. Always.

I agree with the both of you Crystal and Melvin. Being a God fearing person really helps us to respect God. He is the most powerful and Almighty. And it is true Crystal that God just punishes us because we did something wrong or bad and we should suffer with the consequences of our own actions. and that will help us learn and become a better person.

The fear in God that we should have, is really a reverent respect of Him. We should be in awe of Him. I know that God loves us always, but sometimes I see Him as a type of disciplinarian. I mean, when I discipline my son, it is to help him not to break his spirit or to just be mean to him. I love my son and I want him to learn how to behave and how to grow into a responsible, honest, young man. I think that God sees us that way. He wants us to be the best we can be. Often he simply lets us suffer the consequences of our own actions because that is how we learn lessons. Otherwise, we'd all be spoiled brats. But He is there to catch us if we fall, and to hold us and tell us He loves us all the time.

Thanks for the complement Maylin. Well it's surprising because even though we already know that he won't punish us, we're still very afraid and most of the time we think that we asking for forgiveness is not enough. Maybe because our parents have told us when we're young that we should have fear in God

Well, i guess you are right. But maybe He just do that to help us change and for us to embrace His presence and love. It is true that we do bad things but God will always forgive us for all the wrong things that we have done. If we only ask for His forgiveness. And He will not punish us if we know what is right from wrong and if we know how to ask for His forgiveness.

Maylin I know but it's just hard to see why He should not. I mean we do terrible decisions, we blame him for trivial stuffs and we just ignore most of the time. So my mindset is I think God at certain point would make us feel he is punishing us so that we could learn our lessons.

God doesn't punish us Melvin. It is the things that we do that are punishing us. God loves us so much and we should not doubt His love for us. Because if bad things are happening to us, let us just think of the good side that these are just challenges to make us a better person.

I really have a big battle in terms of having faith in God. In the past, I have always used to think that God loves me so much simply because I was still a kid and was taught that way. And these days I just wonder if God really loves us or maybe he also punishes us for doing bad things.

yes, God loves me so much. i don't have much in life but i am very thankful because God is really good. i have professional children and a great family. God loves each and every one of us. and it is important to always thank and worship Him. that is the only way to thank Him.

Yes I know god loves me. This is know when I once prayed hard for a thing and I got one. In the day before my training call to Motorola I prayed to god please god get me this training not because I want money because of other benefits like experience and to kill the time. And next day I was selected from 180 candidates. So if you ask something he'll always give you if you badly need it.

I don't believe that GOD is hateful. When I Pray I State to GOD to call on me anytime he/she needs me and that he/she knows me. I mostly ask for Strength, Guidance, and to protect my children. I truly believe that GOD won't give you anything that you couldn't handle. I believe that GOD is all Loving and forgiving. People always ask me how I survived a very abusive child hood, I tell them GOD gave me the Strength to hold on and survive.
