Saints Can Help Us

Saints are said to be humans with exceptional Holiness. There are saints in many cultures however; Saints are most recognized in the Catholic Church.

Saints are considered to be part of a group called Ascended Masters (AM). AM’s were once humans living on Earth, who were exceptional Spiritual qualities.  Jesus, Mother Mary, Gandhi, and Buddha are considered to be Ascended Masters.

The process by which one becomes a saint is Canonization, which is decided by The Vatican. This process goes as far back as 1234 A.D. A potential Saint has to pass a series of specific criteria.  Some of those include, servant of God, heroic virtues, and miracle worker. 

Well Recognized Saints

Patron Saints are chosen to watch over specific areas of life.

1. St. Jude - Patron saint of “Desperate Cases” Feast Day 10/28
2. St. Luke - Patron saint of “Physicians and Surgeons.” Feast day 10/18
3. St. Thomas Aquinas - Patron Saint of “Academics.” Feast day 1/28
4. St. Christopher Patron - “Saint of Drivers.” (7/25 however dropped off calendar).
5. St. Francis of Assisi - Patron Saint of “Ecologist and Animals.” Feast day 10/4
6. St. Theresa of Lisieux - Patron Saint of “Missions and Flowers.” Feast 10/1
7. St. Joan of Arc - Patron Saint of “Soldiers of France and the Military.”  Feast Day 5/30
8. St. Valentine - Patron Saint of “Love and Happy Marriages.” Feast Day 2/14

Many people feel strongly that Saints answers prayers. People swear by the fact praying to St. Jude in a crisis helps, driving with a St. Christopher medal keeps them safe, and St. Thomas helps with academic pursuits. 

As with all spiritual endeavors there is really only one requirement, belief. Choose a Saint that resonates with you and believe.

 'After being in relationship with Wilson for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused.  Are you catholic? Honestly? thomas aquinas a saint? Have you EVER read about his TRUE HISTORY ACCORDING TO HIS VICTIMS? I think you need to do some learning before you start teaching lest you mislead people into greater ignorance. vatican canonization is utter rubish, and the catholic church is a fraudulent religion born from the mediocre mind of irenaeus of Loyola.
