I can remember, about 5 or 6 years ago, I was very tired and needed to take a nap after a very hectic day at work. I took a nap around 6:30 pm. After I slept, I thought, Still aware of what was going on around me, seeing everything surounding me & hearing all sounds, TV & family members talking. I had the feeling that I was still awake... and going into a dreamstate. The feeling,(sensation) over my body was like a wave (ocean) going from the top of my head to the lower extremetries of my body, a repeating feeling,from the top of my head to the lower part of my body and on and on... a feeling of the ebb and tide of the ocean. That's the only way that I can explain the feeling that I have any time I go to an out of body journey. I don't remember where I've gone, I just know I went somewhere. I remember coming back in too. I can see,or feel like I am going...(passing)through a person... I realized after many outings and re- entries, that this person is me, re-entering. I found out if I feel the ebb and tide... I don't fight the feeling...I just go with it. because, I know that I will leave and return with no problem. I have to tell... that at first, I was very scared of this happning. I have learned, to just go with it. And, before you go to sleep and you have said your prayers, say an extra prayer that you if your spirit leaves your body, that it returns with ease. To Diane: this is so funny, my name is diane and i am from kentucky...*laff* i get a buzy feeling before i will do an obe and also a metal sounding noise. i once thought i was having seizures, it was so severe, but i found that i wasn't having seizures. Now when i am relaxing i try to hear chatter in the background and sometimes it pulls me into it. i believe its the Alpha state.

Did I astral travel to a place called SURYA? I asked before I slept to be taken to my original home. I arrived somewhere where there were all silver domed buildings, met by people who were excited to see me. Two silver towers in the middle of this small community with tops like arrows. I asked the name of the place and they said Surya!!!????

Hi,WHEN I was 7 my father passed away, and in 2005 my mother did. Shortly after mom passed I had this dream that I walked into this room and it looked like a class room and there were several rows of folded chairs and as I walked towards the back of the room and passing people already setting in these chairs it felt as if I knew these people like they were all of my deceased relatives from along time ago, but when I got to the very back row, there was my mom standing looking at me I hugged her and told her I missed her, and then I looked towards my left and in the same row of chairs setting next to mom, was her mother(my grandma dollie) and I hugged her and then I kept looking to my left and here came this man walking down the rows of chairs backwards and when he turned around he grinned really big at me, I thought maybe it was my dad who died when I was very young and not really remembering what he looked like, I told my sister about this dream the next morning and she e-mailed me some pics. of dad and that was the same man in my dream. This dream really felt like I was somewhere real and I will never forget it . Melinda

I used to have dreams where I was flying on things that do not fly. I still have dreams were I start off jumping/sprinting really far, and I start getting higher and higher to where I am sprinting in the air. One time I was back at my old playground from school, and I was with a bunch of people, and Sylvia was there. I cannot remember what we talked about, but I just remember her being there because I was showing her how I can sprint in the air. I have been having these jumping/sprinting dreams for as long as I can remember.

Hey Nicole!!! Thankyou for the answer. I really believe now,(with what you explained) that I must be slipping back into my body. This feels nice to know that I am not crazy. I wish I would wake this way every time I travel. I also feel pressure under my armpits, which is a very uncomfortable feeling. I feel this is my Spirit Guide pulling me out or dropping me off. I wish I could have these feelings more than I do, but, I am satisfied with what I have experienced and that I am pretty normal. Thanks Again, Diane

I have been doing astral traveling for about a year now.The only difficulty I have with this is that every time I go to see my husband I see things and hear things that make me wake up crying with a pit in my stomach. I know these things are not, and can not be true. He would never ever do this to me. Maybe I should stop for awile? Namaste' Linda H

When I was little girl, I love to jump on the bed... anyway ... one day I entered in mom's bedroom and then jump on her bed... suddenly I found myself in the bright colorful tunnel. I was flying... I saw other kids flying next to me, other on my other side.. other below me.. then I can't remember what was the reason. I got out of the tunnel... bounced off the bed and left the room. I dont know if it is dream but I doubt it. The tunnel is really interesting.. mmm.

to Diane "who thinks she needs a crazy pill" haha no your not crazy and dont go takin any pills haha. i have also felt that weird and also very cool feeling. it happens as soon as i slip into a sleep but i feel as though i am still sort of awake. its like i actually feel my spirit coming out of my body as it knows im sleeping and it can leave now. i actually feel my body lifting and kinda flying its amazing and i wish i could do it more often. but other times ive felt kinda scared cause i also feel like im trying to wake myself up and i try so hard but something wont let me. and im trying to move or scream and i can feel my body stiff while i sleep but im also kind of awake cause i know i want to move or scream its weird!!! but Diane your not alone. and im glad now im not either haha. I Astral travel all the time, i never knew what was happening to me until i began watching Sylvia, and reading her books. i wish i knew where i went. i always had a tough time returning to my body.
