Sylvia, I loved reading your comments. I agreed with most of your comments (as they applied to myself only). I have a very strong personality and definately would not say that I lack from self confidence. My insecurities surface when I don't feel that I have done my best that I could possibly do. I am extremely loyal to both family and friends. Although, I would not describe myself as having to be the center of attention, I definately have no problem fitting in at social events. I love to debate with the best of people. Growing up I have always had a problem with the bullies in life and would go to almost any lengths to defend the underdog. I still continue to do that in my adulthood. This is my favorite time of year (my birthday). I read your other comments about all of the zodiac signs and I have to say that I do agree with most of them. My husband is a Cancer and we are a great match: Together 27 years (I was 15 and he was 17) My Mom is Pieces (we are very close, she lets me be me) Dad is Cancer (Calm, Loving, Mellow but can have a temper) Brother is Libra (we are extremely close) and Sister is Aries (we clash big time). P.S. The second paragraph hits home about my one brother Sylvia. He has a very addictive personality and I think this has come from a lifelong struggle with insecurity and not being nurtured in the right direction. He has SO much intelliegence(very high IQ), is a great musician, and has drive, but it's focused in the wrong directions for his ego, acceptance, and praise. For example, he would rather help strangers and aquaintances with problems than his own family. I think he seeks acknowledgement that way beacuse we already know his capabilities and I think sometimes he has felt no appreciation or value as all my siblings and I have at times(that's a whole other story about my family life). Well, happy birthday to all Leos. May the year ahead bring peace and happiness to you and your families.

I have two Leo brothers who are only about a year apart and they appear to be very opposite. One is a hard working family man who has been married since he was 18, welcomed responsibility, and has always been more into his appearance. The other, who I live with, is a more laid back loner type who doesn't care too much about his appearance, lives life in the moment and is more self-centered. I know one I live with a lot better than the other and he is pretty much like the above description, minus a few things. I think he is insecure on the inside and it does make him bark(and talk- hee hee) loud. He also likes to hear himself talk and there is not a lot of room for different opinions. Me, being Gemini, sometimes would rather not deal with this, so I try not to engage in long in depth convos with him. He is very intelliegent though about a lot of things and is a fast study, but sometimes I find him lacking in common sense. I think his ego rules over common sense sometimes because he likes to be right and doesn't back down too easily. This could be a family trait though. LOL I'm sure there are a lot of Leos who accept critism, advice, or even other suggestions easily, but my brother doesn't too well. I do find him possessive of his belongings, but he is not cheap. I mean there are a lot of facets that make someone who they are(even other astrological influences), not just their sun signs. I do always think positive of Leos though, and my mom has always said it was a good, strong sign.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY mom, husband, and friends. I love the Leo's in my life and wouldn't know what to do without them. Whenever I have a question that I cannot answer I have a choice of who to call and whoever answers first usually knows the answer. (Thank you guys for knowing a little about so much) You are loved and always will be :)

Happy birthday to all the Leos. I have so many Leos in my life. August is always a very busy month for me as far as presents and parties go. Leos are definitely some of the most wonderful people I have ever met.

I'm a Leo myself actually, I'm not one to focus on the Northern Zodiac much, (I prefer the Chinese zodiac) but to be honest, I think I'm on the wrong chart, cause I'm more like an Aquarius.
