I take great offense to Sylvia's comments about Taureans being "dumb" and clingy. As a First day Taurean (born April 20th) I've been described in many ways but being stupid isn't one of them. I've taken an IQ test and scored a 136...which is Above Average and 4 points below Genius. as for being boring... I am a bit shy at first with people I do not know well, but then open up and have a great, a little skewed sense of hum or...in fact, many have called me a bit of a smartass:) I'm pretty open minded, love art, music, play a little guitar, have written a few stories and poems, and can draw quite well. I'm not exactly a Hendrix, a Rembrant, or a Shakesphere, but i'm no slouch in those areas either. Maybe she mistakes a taurean's stubbornness and determination for being "too stupid and closeminded" Maybe she mistakes a taurean's loyalty to their friends. I feel the opinion Sylvia expresses about Taureans might be tainted by a bad experience with a Taurean.

I think Sylvia is slipping or her psychic waves are being disrupted by too much fame. First, she says she didn't make the prediction about the president, which we all read here, and now she is calling Taureans "stupid". We are stupid like foxes. We know what we want and like, and are persistant probably to a fault, but we usually suceed. Doesn't sound like stupid to me. Sandy

Helluva birthday greeting, Sylvia. It was boring, stupid, lacked relevance or astrological content, and frankly, it was extremely rude. In defense, I have an IQ of 130 and have been told I have the patience of a saint that usually comes along with "how can you be so forgiving?". I'm a digital designer, maintain and repair my own computers, and I'm also a published writer with readers who find my work interesting. Perhaps I'm the oddball Taurean, but nevertheless, this particular article was quite the slap in the face from someone whom I once respected. I suggest you take a break, honey.

I am a taurus and I will agree with the boring. I don't like change and the simple things in life, are what get my attention. They will often reply to questions with “Huh?” and a puzzled look." I will agree to this one too, but it's not stupidity. My brain takes a few seconds to comprehend spoken word. The "huh" is only a stall while my brain deciphers. My IQ was fully tested and scaled 160. I think these biased assumptions are not clearly understood or interpreted by Sylvia Brown.

Sylvia, I am very disappointed in you...Being a Taurus, I am none of the negative traits you have described..I have followed you for years and I cannot believe someone with you knowledge and wisdom would be so cruel.. Sylvia I would stop giving astrology advice. There are 3 sections to a Taurus, and each one is different. I am very, very Intelligent, and I do not remind people what I did for them nor do I expect paybacks from people.I have actually had to cut back on my friends who were just hanger onners because I am too good of a friend, and appreciate the nice, kind ones that I have. You have totally disgusted me with your total negative view point of a Taurus--are you still in the past about someone who was a taurus?? Give up on astrology because I am about to give up on you. I agree, this blog from sylvia is actually quite rude and condescending, especially for her. these are all generilzations from her point of view or so, and I don't believe that these descriptions fit an indivualized person. Everyone is different, and one must not listen to another's point of view, you know who you are as a person, and we are all beautiful people in our own ways. I do conqeur and agree whether these are her comments or someone elses to be very quite rude and no need for it. Even if her intentions were to be this, she should have revised, that's why you have editing... Or maybe it could have been intentional and more publicity on her part like she needs anymore.
