Helping Your Children With Their Dream Lives

by Sylvia Browne

How many times has your child told you about an amazing and unusual dream they had last night? Or perhaps they have mentioned that they visited with Grandma who is now living on The Other Side. Children are just like adults in that they have rich and vivid dreamlives. Being open to helping your child understand their dreams is a real gift.

We all travel to The Other Side occasionally during our dreams. This is after all, where we used to live. We chose to come to Earth to live for awhile before returning to The Other Side. So it makes perfect sense that we would become sentimental for our true home during our stay on Earth. If your child tells stories of visiting a place with magnificent buildings and large libraries and many people that all seem familiar—they very well may have traveled to The Other Side during their dreams.

Simply listening to your child’s dreams is so helpful to them. Asking them questions to help them get more information from their dream is very useful. It is best not to make definite statements about their dreams—let the child explain what they think they were dreaming about. This relationship can be so helpful for your child’s spiritual life!

What type of dreams have your children had? Do you think your children remember their dreams?

Sylvia Browne is without question, "America's #1 Psychic," an internationally known psychic and medium.

Listening and guiding our children with their dreams are very important. this just do not give your children strong beliefs and connection to the spirits but also it will help you and your children have a strong bond. this is very helpful.

Greetings, I am Elicia born on Halloween night in "1976" My dad always called me his little witch LOL... Anyway I have a story to tell.. Feb.2005 I had my song copied writed titled "The Other Side" in which I wrote for my son who was 11 at the time. Some of the lyrics are "when you need me I'll be there floating in the CRISP WINTERS AIR. The song is telling him I will see him & always be there when I die. Well then in April of 2005 I conceieved exactly 11 months after having a miscarriage.. I had complications during this whole time. When I was about 4 months or so I learned of my dad having cancer which was misdiagnosed in the end it was bone cancer..............In November of 2005 at 31 weeks my water broke & I spent the Thanks giving (about 17 days) in the hospital. Finally on December 3 2005 at 11:25pm they had to do an emergancy c-section. We had a beautiful little girl she weighed 4 lbs 11oz. When I was able to feel my legs & go see her she was in bed 11. She is exactly 11yrs 11months younger than her brother. She had to stay in NICU for about 18 days before she cold come home.. More about that story some other time........... My daddy born on April 11, 1940 died at home on 12/11/2006, just days after my little girl turned 1 & missing my sons 12th birthday on 1/11.. I was there & walked him home, I had told my daddy a fews days prior that he would come to me & I would see & it would all be ok...As I was craddling his head.. Now back to my song in which the winters air, he died in winter, so the song instead of for my kids it really turns out to be for me.. Now in April of of 2006 only 4 months after his death my daddy did come & he left me a message on my answering machine.. First it sounds as if he says my name then I hear... If I could....were ganna meet again....I love you... My mom called me that day & instead of leaving a message she tried to hang up, but it didn't hang up & my daddy spoke... I would love for you Sylvia & anyone else to hear my daddys message. I have it posted along with my song at myspace.com/witchescry You can stop the song from playing at anytime then scroll down & I have a you tube player that has a picture of me when I was young with my daddy & if you push play turn your volume up for my daddys message.. My dad thought Sylvia was a Quack LOL but he came to let me know for sure that what I know is soooooo......... Much Love To Everyone ~ELicia~ aka **HalloweenStar** P.S. Sylvia you are the closest spirit like my grandmas who died when I was 7 & I just love your spirit, your humor, your light.... Blessings & Love to You.............

Well I'm very young and I don't have kids so far. But my younger brothers are telling me about dreams that I think are impossible. For me it doesn't make sense but still as much as I could I try to understand them and listen to what they say. I also give feedbacks about their dreams and what I think about it.

Hi Leigh. It is good that your daughter has spirit friends but there are also disadvantages. but it is important that you support her and help her with the thought that she has spirit friends. maybe those are her angels. and i think it will help her understand more about hem if you will talk to her about his.

Hi Sylvia, I have been waiting an hoping you will answer my question about my twin sister who moved to Florida several years ago. Recently I had a dream that you and I met and you answered my question for me. My question is if this was your spirit talking to me and answering my question for me. Angela~

Hi Lavern. Well, your child didn't really specify who that father is. Maybe your father, his father or could it be our Father God? I really think it was Father God that he saw in his dream. And that is a good sign.

My daughter who is now turning 8 next week does not tell stories about her dreams. But one time when she was age 3 or 4 she told me that she was accompanied by father in the room and my father has passed away at the time. Could it be that she had dream about my father when he is still alive or could it be that he really saw my father? Thank you!

this is very helpful. and yeah, we as parents should let our children share their dreams. whether bad or good. it is important to imply to them their spiritual life and what they need to know. having a spiritual relationship with them is very important.

My daughter not only has dreams but she has "spirit" friends, who so many will pass off as just imaginary friends. Yes, it is 100% important not to put them down or tell them that what they are saying is silly, because society will soon enough get their hands on them and try to program them to think that anyways.
