Palm Reading

The art of palm reading is an ancient one. Palmistry or Chiromancy is all over the world and is in almost every culture. Palmistry is when a Palm Reader is able to describe someone’s character and predict future events by looking at a person’s palm.

There are many schools of thought for Palmistry. Depending on what school of Palmistry a reader subscribes to will determine the type of reading you will get.  Palmistry is not a science but known as pseudoscience.

In Palm Reading there are 4 major lines a reader looks at.

1. The Head Line.
2. The Heart Line.
3. The Fate Line.
4. The Life Line.


A reader will, also, consider the shape of the hand, the bumps in the hand, the mounds in the hand and the color of the palm. Which hand the reader looks at is very important too. Again, you may find this varies from reader to reader depending on their school of thought.  Some readers will read the left and right hand differently for a male and female. Other readers may feel that the left hand is your “potential” hand and the right hand is the "what you choose to do with your life hand."

There are considerable other lines a reader will look at when reading a palm.  Often, a reader will take a pen and trace the lines and swirls in your hand in order to get a better picture of your character and possible future.

The human hand changes over time.  Age, illness or stress will change a person’s hand. Like many other "readings" you might get, it is always important to remember you have the gift of free will and that can change an outcome of any situation.

 I've thought about palm reading but somehow it feels less accurate to me. Perhaps I should just try and it and see what happens. Maybe all the bumps and lines do tell a story but not sure if I'm a believer of it. Thanks for the info - always good to learn!
