I have had my share of "Physic intuition": Like someone coming to me in a dream (more that once) to tell me that they were ok now and Knowing that they had crossed over before they or actually while they did. Having certian mechanical devices go off when no one was there to make such things happen. Smelling a scent of say floweres when there were none. Stating that this, this, and this was going to happen and it has. Plus many other instances. But through all of this and knowing and beliveing in God I have tried to connect to my spirit guide and cannot. I have tried Sylvia's meditations in most all of her books. Is there something I am missing or maybe I am not doing right?

Sylvia I know that I have a spirit guide. I have always felt that someone or something was with me. I have always felt a strong appresion on my soul and wondered why as if I was constantly being attacked or targeted for some reason. Is there something that my spirit ghuide is trying to tell me or a place that they are trying to lead me to?

Franklin George, I'm not so sure that is it male sp's for males and female sp's for females...as far as I've ever read from Sylvia it depends on what side of mentality you are here to work on more...I am a female and have a male spirit guide named Daniel and I know some ppl who have the same sex as them...good ? and don't think your stupid for asking a ? that's how we all learn right? Hey Franklin George, I'm not Sylvia but, I think I can pass on a bit of her information. I remember Sylvia writing about Spirit Guides and I believe this is her explanation. Most females will have a female spirit guide/males will have a male spirit guide. But, if you need a little help with your emotional side and your a male you will have a female spirit guide, if a female needs help with her intellectual side they may have a male spirit guide. I'm not so sure about people having more than one spirit guide. Maybe, these people have male and female both. No you don't have a dumb question, cause I think I just confused myself.hee hee

I am not sure if this was my guide or not, but one night before I was to recieve a reading from a lady, I had something really weird happen. I was sleeping, but I could still hear everything around me. I remember a voice going on in my head asking questions, and I was recieving answers to those questions. I remember this voice,(I think that it was mine) asking what my name was on the other side. They said the name, and subconsiously I think I wanted them to spell it for me, because they did. It was Cera. It was pronounced sear-ah. It is similar to my name here, which is Sara. The voice also asked about career. I am not sure if they mis-understood and told me my job on the otherside, or what my career should be here. They told me Journalist. This is all I can remember. What was weird, is that the women who gave me my reading the next day, told me that my career was Journalist. Did this lady somehow tap into my head when she was meditating? I cannot see myself being a journalist in this life. I could see doing this on the otherside though. I love anything to do with research. My daughter told me that one night in her room she saw a light start out dim and get brighter and she put her head under the covers. She said that she was to scared to come get me. This happened to her about 5 years ago. She just told me about this experience this year. I am not sure what that could have been. But I remember you saying something about seeing a light that got brighter and out of that came your spirit guide.

Dear Sylia, If my spririt guides would ever speak to me with a high pitch vocice the first time,not knowning if it was a female or male speaking to me. I always wonder if we are assign male guides to males and females guides to females? Sorry for asking this dumb question. Cause I been tring for awhile to know my spirit guides name to speak with him or her.Thank you again and Francine for getting me closer to God and Heaven,I do believe god bless you. About 6 years ago, I was staying at my husband's parents house and was startled by this extremely high pitched "hellloooo" in the middle of the night. I instantly broke out into a cold sweat and woke up my husband to ask him if he'd heard it too. He tried to tell me that it was the neighbors dog howling, but I knew what I had heard. I spent the rest of the night praying unsuer of where the noise came from. As the years went by, I learned more and more about spirit guides and heaven, and have become more comfortable (less scared) of communicating with spirits. It was not until today, however, as I read this blog that it finally clicked with me....That high pitched "hello" was my spirit guide. I know it. I have spoken with Sylvia's son Chris and he told me my spirit guides name is Ingrid. I just hope that Ingrid will try to communicate with me again now that I understand.
