The Healing Power of Sodalite |

Sodalite is an amazing stone which is blue and generally has white veining. It can be confused with Lapis Lazuli. Although very similar in color to Lapis Lazuli the stones are different. Sodalite was discovered in approximately 1806. It became popular for ornamental use in jewelry in the late eighteen hundreds.
Beautiful in its’ raw as well as polished forms it is most widely seen in the polished form. It can be found small enough for use in tumblers. It’s a perfect stone for the home, office or to wear. It aides to enhance inner peace, harmony and allows energy to flow evenly.
Sodalite can be formed into many shapes. I have seen Sodalite in the pyramid, obelisk, wand and heart shaped forms. You will see Sodalite on the desk of many writers as it aides in creativity, clear thinking, perception and luck.
Often used as a bridge between the spiritual and the physical Sodalite can, also, be used in conjunction with other stones to promote further healing. For example, Sodalite can be placed on the heart with rose quartz to fuse intuition and love. It is often associated with the third eye Chakra for increasing the spiritual self as well as the throat chakra for increased communication skills.
Physically Sodalite can aide in the healing of the thyroid, weight loss, calcium deficiencies, and hoarseness.
As you can see Sodalite has various uses. This is a stone that has deep value both mentally and physically. As a writer I plan on placing one on my desk. I will let you know what happens.
