The Journey to The Other Side
by Sylvia Browne

Many people ask me "What is the journey to The Other Side like?" This is a very common question and it is quite understandable that we would wonder about this experience.

When our bodies die, most of us experience a brilliantly lit tunnel that rises from our own bodies. This tunnel leads more "across" than "up" at about a twenty- or thirty-degree angle. We then travel with the glorious, weightless freedom through this sideways tunnel. While in this tunnel, we do not feel as if we have died, but we feel more thrillingly alive than we ever were on earth. All of our worries, frustrations, anger, resentment and negativity melt away. These negative emotions are replaced by peace and all-loving, unconditional understanding as we remember and understand that we are about to reunite with Home.

God's sacred white light waits to embrace us at the very end of the tunnel. Our loved ones are there, from every lifetime to greet us. They are eager to see us. Family, friends, pets and everyone that you have ever loved is there to see you.

Once you arrive at The Other Side, you continue with a busy and active life pursuing interests that you enjoy. Sometimes there are activities that we enjoyed on The Other Side that we did not do while on Earth that we can now look forward to taking up once more. There are lectures, concerts, classes, conversation groups and all sorts of cultural activities.

Sylvia Browne is without question, "America's #1 Psychic," an internationally known psychic and medium.

you are welcome cheri. yeah, our life is given to us by God and He will know when to get it. life is just like a borrowed thing from God, and anytime, He will take it back from us. that is why we should make the most of our time and not waste it.

Hello to all and Sylvia, Chris, and Family. I love Sylvia. If you don't mind me sharing this I would like to. http://www.thehopeproject.com It is a story of GOD's Promise for all His People. It's a great video. I think Sylvia was picked by God to be a vessle to help us to understand these events. We are all vessles for God, but some will be given a gift of sight. God gives us all gift's unique. We were all made to have different gifts. Please watch this video and also don't forget we are all special to God. Thank you Sylvia, for sharing your gift that God has given you.

Thank you Maylin! Just like you & Green, I too have two teenage daughters that I need to be here for to protect, guide & love. Even though I welcome the otherside with open arms & heart, I am not ready to leave here yet! But if it is God's will, I have no fear they will be okay in the grander sceme of life! On another note to Garry, I think it is clear here that Sylvia does not answer our questions, and if you need to know desperately why or if she was conficted of fraud, google it! We all know she is not 100% accurate, as no-one is or should claim to be. She has opened up million's of hearts to Spirituality, in the name of God, why some people cannot see the good she has done is beyond me. She is only a human! God Bless you!

Hi cheri, thank you for sharing your story and for the inspiring words. you are right, we should not worry who will be left behind if we will die. because if God really wants us to leave, then it is His plan. and maybe someday, we will be with our loved ones just like how we want it to be.

Hi Maylin, In answer to your questions, the man was my boyfriend's (at the time) uncle. He was 35 in 1979. He blamed it on a Vietnam flashback. I never bought that. I never told a soul except for the boyfriend for 5 years. I didn't want his grandmother to find out, she was a great source of comfort for me then and in ICU in Texas. He eventually died of cancer. I was so young, little did I know or even think that he would continue to do it to others, which I heard he had, and perhaps unfortunately succeeded. I pray not. The good thing that came out of that experience is NO-ONE can tell me otherwise, I KNOW there is life after death, like I know I am typing in this blog. I had absolutely no fear, no fear of death. That is such an empowering emotion, for when you have no fear, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain! What is the worst thing to happen to you? You can and will die. Forget about what you leave behind, what you didn't do, didn't say, didn't accomplish, for when you feel that overwhelming Godly sense of peace, you instinctively KNOW that everything will be ok, and life is so short, you KNOW your loved ones will survive without you NO MATTER What, and they will be with you so much sooner, almost like a blink of the eye, in heaven. You KNOW they will do their jobs and come home like you are. Just like I know, I was sent back here to fulfill my own destiny & chart. The bad news is, for a rebellious 17 yr. old to have NO FEAR of death, well, for lack of better words, was a very enlightening, dangerous, life on the edge experience! Since then I have had signs from my grandmother when she passed, she sent me a beautiful perfect yellow leaf, that literally floated into my car while sitting at a red light in the fall, raining, with all my windows up, it floated onto the passenger seat while I was thinking of her. My dear friend actually came to me in my sleep, begging me to open my eyes, I told him I was too afraid, he got frustrated with me, kissed me a big wet one on the lips, and said goodbye. When I awoke, my whole apartment smelt like his very distinctive expensive cologne! I kick myself for being afraid, for he never came back in that sense so strong. Another time, I was driving, took a wrong turn, ended up by his graveside, saw his mom, kneeling and crying over his grave, (he died at 30), I comforted her, and when I got back into my car, a song and a wonderful cool breeze entered my car, that was the Police song, I'll be watching you...I love God, and whatever I can do to help others in his name is such an honor to me! I continue to pray to be open enough to be able to do that!

Yes Green. it is really also hard to see someone die. especially if it is your loved one. i mean, even our pets, when they die, it hurts us so much. what more if it is already our own flesh and blood and someone really close to us. right?

Hello Green. we all have reasons for us to still want to live in this world. just like you, i also have kids. and i want to see what life they will have in the future. and of course take good care of my grandchildren and see them grow.=)

Peggy what an amazing story. Going through all those moments before she finally left would make her death so easy to endure by her family. I have never witness someone dying before... well except this time I was admitted at the hospital with my child and the child oposite our bed passed away. The child was so malnourished and was suffering from severe malnutrition. One look at her mother showed that she really was caring at all. I actually didn't feel bad for the child because I know she would be in better care now... in Gods hands
