Since moving to a "new" 67 year old home, my two siamese cats have become extremely skittish. My two babies were always so laid back and vocal. Now whenever they go near the staircase in my home they growl, run away, and hide under my sofa. I live alone and rent this home, and the owner isn't able to provide me with much of the home's history, but something is really spooking my cats. All I know is that the house was built in 1946 and was originally owned by a husband and wife that had something to do with food services. None of my neighbors are old enough to know much about my home's past owners. I'm worried that there's "something extra" in my home. I know that cats are highly sensitive spirits. That is what worries me. The cats are ok downstairs. I tried to carry one of my cats upstairs and he hissed and yowled and scratched my arm to break away. As I said my cats were always so docile.

My stove and oven are on the east wall of my kitchen and that is not able to be changed. I am however, remodeling otherwise and am thinking of using light maple cabinets, black countertops and if affordable, using glass tiles in colors of green and blue. They will be transparent and also include possibly some other colors interspersed. Would this be a good way to counteract or does anyone suggest something else?

Do not keep the artificial fruits as far as possible. Because nothing can replace the originality. You will have a very warm and pleasant environment around you if you have natural beauty. If you have decided to place the artificial things, see to it that you dust it everyday such that it looks green always and fresh.

We'll I have to agree with Postman, Fruits do rot easily when out of the fridge considering warm climates. Can artifical fruit be a substitute for the real ones? I may not always be around the house to clean or replace the fruit. Can you suggest things I could do? Thanks by the way for an article worth reading.

I didn't know that! Now that I've read this article, I'll make sure to remove all objects that hinder the flow of healing energies in my house. This is truly a wondrous thing; this Feng Shui will make sure that the people I love are more protected from harm. Thanks a lot!

Since you are saying something about displaying fruits in the center of the table, I just like to add that fruits do rotten easily if exposed outside of the refrigerator. Can I replace it with plastic fruits so that I would never have rotten fruits on my table? Is this possible?

I think placing fruits and flowers on the table and placing it in the centre of the house is a valid green point. Most people do this but they forget to dust the artificial flowers and fruits. This may prove not healthy for them. We must always keep ourselves and our surroundings clean and green. So automatically nature will start loving us.

@Dartz: Sharpen that a little bit and you've got a good quote to put in the opening page of a Feng Shui book. And anyone who believes that rearranging the furniture and using certain colors is occult, really needs to look up what the word occult means, and slap whoever told them it was occult in a negative context.

You buy Feng Shui the same place you can buy happiness. In other words, it's not bought, you need to make it yourself. It's basically the art of rearranging furniture and using colors and paintings to reflect positive energy around the house. Page: 1 2 3 You must log in to post a comment.
