Best Pet For Your Zodiac Sign Are you having trouble relating to your dog? Maybe that means you are a feline loving Leo. Does the idea of having a cat litter box in your home make you feel disgusted? You might be a Virgo or a Capricorn.

The theory is that the zodiac signs have their astrological equivalences when it comes to relating to their pets as well. Here is a breakdown of what types of pets serve each zodiac sign the best.




Aries

You like to exercise, so a dog is always a good choice. You are better off to keep the dog a smaller breed though, as you are never at home. You also would do well with a bird.


Taurus

Any type of dog suits you, but ones that are calm and like to lie around and watch television with the family are the best. You also get along very well with cats as they are so gentle. You prefer cleaner animals so you are not fond of rabbits or ferrets.


Gemini

You love having a constant companion so a lap dog is the best choice for you. You need a pet you can travel with. Many Gemini's have pets in pairs. They often have two dogs or two cats so they can keep each other company. 


Cancer

You do well with small furry creatures including hamsters, gerbils, kittens, and ferrets. You are also a lover of fish, because you are a water sign.




Leo

You are the penultimate sign for the cat so you enjoy the independence and charm of a feline in your home.


Virgo

You are not that fond of pets in general as they tend to mess up the house, but you would do well with a smaller cat that can take care of itself. Exotic pets are not for you!


Libra

You are a friendly, gentle person so you really prefer a dog over a cat. Walking dogs in the park is a great way to meet new people too!


Scorpio

You are one of the few signs that loves a snake, spider, or reptile for a pet. You also have a way with cats as to you they symbolize sensuality and the occult.




Sagittarius

You are not a pet lover as a rule because you like to travel and be free of responsibility. You do well with low maintenance pets like fish or tortoises. Some Archers are great equestrians and own not just one but several horses.


Capricorn

You are not that fond of pets as they tend to mess up your lifestyle. You prefer a big dog that stays outdoors. You are very good at running a farm if you are so inclined.


Aquarius

You do not like to keep pets in general, but you are fascinated by creatures of the air. Birds and bugs are your best choices for a pet.


Pisces

You like calm animals so you prefer a cat over a dog. You are also a major water sign so fish, especially koi fish, are not a bad choice for your sign.

 I'm a Libra and that is so true but I have 2 cats and I really do prefer dogs over cats but my daughter wanted cats so that's why I have cats and also where I use to live you couldn't have any animals except caged ones so we had lots of hampsters, but now where I moved to you can have both but the Kittens were free and they are so cute they grew on me and I love them but still I would prefer a dog over a cat any day if I had the money I would go and get me a dog, it would be nice if I could get a dog for free just like I got these kittens. My daughter is on the border line between cancer and leo and wow that is so true hampsters, cats yeah so true.

 I'm a Pisces and I hate to tell you but you are totally wrong. I have 7 yes 7 dogs and I love each and everyone one them. They are part of the family. They sleep in the house, they're kept in the house when it's to hot or to cold and they sleep wherever they darn well please including my bed! I also have 4 cats who most of the time don't give me the time of day. I prefer my dogs over the cats because they are more loving and affectionate and truely are glad when I come home. The cats could care less!!

 I'm not sure why you got this particular job, it would appear that you are inaccurate most of the time. My sister is a Pisces, she has two cats & a big dog whom she adores. I am a Capricorn & have a small in door dog, plus the two cats of my sisters, another cat who belongs to my Father, & my sister's dog is the one who stays outside. I feel bad for him, not happy that he's out there, because he doesn't receive enough attention out there. My friend is a Libra who, like me, loves both cats & dogs. She is only able to own cats at the moment because she lives in an apartment, but as soon as she can move to a house, she plans on getting a dog. So, again, utterly inaccurate for us. My Father is also a Libra, & as I said above, he has a cat as well. Thank the Lord Sylvia doesn't endorse anyone's accuracy but her son's, otherwise people would be annoyed at her for this instead of at you for making the actual mistakes.

 I am an Aquarius and I love all animals. Now I have a dog but I always like to have a cat because I grew up with having cats. I did have some birds a while a go but I love cats the most I get one for sure later.

 Hi i just feel your Virgo horoscope is not the Trued. Because i am a Virgo and i have 4 Dogs and one Cat that i Love verymuch. and as for the sine of Gemini loving doges or cates that is not Trued because my Man is Gemini and He can not stand my Dogs and we fight all time abaut'it

 Actually I think it is pretty close! I know that I love all animals and want one that can stay in the house with me even tho I'm a Cappy! But it does hit home with what you say! And if I look up with my rising and moon with it, well then it really makes more sense! Thank you!

 Hi, I am a Cancer (July 16th and this horoscope thing is way off.) I love, horses, (I have one.) I love dogs, (Have German Shepherd) I really, don't care for mice, ferrets, and small furry things. I do have a cat tho! I deeply love all my pets, but I just feel your Cancer animal horoscope, is not to be taken for the truth!!!!

 *Laughs* So either cat, fish, or a farm huh? Lol. Well I happen to like dogs better than cats (even though I love all animals). But I would have to agree with my Capricorn part. As much as I love animals,I don't think I'll get a pet simply because I want to travel alot and I wouldn't want the poor to get lonely or anything.
