Virgo
Virgos are picky and love can be a challenge when his high standards get involved. As the zodiac's perfectionist, it's hard for anyone to measure up to his criteria. He'd rather be alone than settle, and sometimes his expectations can be downright unrealistic.
So if a Virgo chooses you, it's grounds for flattery, if nothing else. He doesn't give just anyone a chance, which may feel like a whole lot of pressure for anyone who he goes out with. Analytical Virgos have a way of sizing people up, his eyes squinting as he assesses the creature in front of him. He doesn't mean any harm — he just can't help noticing every detail! However, it can be quite intimidating for the person under the Virgo microscope. Underneath it all, is the fact that he's just incredibly hard on himself. Learning to accept himself is a lifelong quest, and he needs a truly nurturing mate.
Wise and worldly, there's a certain childlike innocence about him as well. No matter how tough or wild he acts, when it comes to romance, Virgos have an old-fashioned streak. He wants to be the dashing knight who sweeps you off your feet. Even if he runs a physics lab or boast several PhDs, he'll blush like a schoolboy if you talk too openly about sex on the first date.
Not that he won't go for it! Virgo is the sign of service and he loves to please the ladies. He'd just rather wait for the lights to go out before he shifts out of "virgin mode." He does enjoy a good round of "dirty talk" once your connection is established. Ruled by communicator Mercury, he may call you for phone sex on a late, lonely night. He's the master of the booty call, even if he IS pretending that his intention is to come by and help you install your air conditioning unit. He'll happily service both you and your household appliances if you ask him.
Like an old-fashioned Romeo, he likes to woo and court. Flings bore him, and he rarely indulges in them. Virgos have their eye on the real thing. His family must approve of his mate — and you will eventually be paraded in front of them before he decides if you're a keeper. He should be able to picture you as the mother (or stepmother) of your children. Young Virgos make great dads, but it takes a long time for them to learn how to be great husbands. As a result, you may inherit a string of kids from his past relationships.
Bookish Virgos can be introverts, and he often holds his cards close to his chest. Or, he may dump out all his baggage right away, assuming that the other person can already see all his so-called flaws. Both of these extreme attitudes can prevent him from forming lasting relationships. He's either too private or too needy. Once he finds the right balance, however this superb conversationalist can be both a strapping stud and a best friend in one.
