I was driving on a freeway taking my car to the dealership, when a Semi truck took off the drivers side mirror & left marks on the door I know there must've been an angel looking out for me. I drove to the dealership, And did not have any injuries.My car has nearly 2000.00 in damages.I am so thankful for the angels looking after me.

My best friend was diagnosed with terminal cancer at age 24. She was 8 months pregnant and felt that something wasn't right.She was having trouble breathing and hadn't felt the baby all day. Her doctor took one look at her and said she was in heart failure. At the hospital, they realized that the baby was dead.(The baby was her first angel who gave his life so his mother could live.) Then they discovered a very rare tumor from her heart to her diaphragm. They basically told her to go home and die. Not wanting to accept that diagnosis they went to another hospital for a second opinion. Upon reading her charts, the doctors were about to tell her the same thing, until they met her. She was an upbeat vibrant young woman who was not going to just lay down and die. She wanted to fight. The doctors agreed to try and save her knowing that she only had a 2% chance. When they were checking in, a guard from the hospitalcame and sat down and was talking to her and her husband. He said his name was Officer Angel and told them that everything would turn out as they wanted. The surgery went well and in fact, she made medical history by being the first person to have this type of procedure. Before they left the hospital, they wanted to thank Officer Angel. When they asked about him at the security office, they weere told there is no such employee. In fact noone by that nameis employed at the hospitalat all and no one knows who he was. We alljust accept the fact that he was an angel who came to tell my friend that everything would be ok. Her cancer came back after 5 years, but after another series of chemo and surgery, she is now cancer free and it's been 10 years. I believe in angels.

I have an old dish pan that i wash dishes in every day one day i was finishing up with the dishes and as i was pouring out the dish water i saw this figure in the bottom of the dish pan i had to look very hard at it because i could not believe my eyes ther was a angel in the material of the dish pan. I was so happy to see it i grabbed the pan and showed it to everyone in the house. I took picture of it and sent them to everyone. It is still in the pan today.Mary c.anglinglover

I WAS ONCE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND WAS VERY TIRED. I MUST HAVE CLOSED MY EYES BECAUSE SOMETHING OR SOMEONE WOKE ME UP. THANK GOD!!!!!!

Yes, Sylvia, hi how are you. I hope all is well. I have been visited very frequently by my angels, especially the one I am on first-name basis with: Maura. All I had to do was ask her her name and she provided it to me without question. Angels I have found are always accessible much more than we'd all care to admit. I have helped by her and the others even as far as to be given money, on the sidewalk, street, at times when I was close to broke. I see her sparkle in my eyes and I know that not only does she care but she never backs down or backs away from me. She has probably loved and cared for me way before the beginnings of my birth as she will also be the first one to guide me to the Heavenly domain I may be bound for upon the ending of my life. I've also gathered from evidence of which can truly support it, my other angel: The Queen of all the Angels, the one they all go to when they need counsil is Jesus"s mother The Virgin Mary. I have also had encounters with Della Reese, the actress whom once played an angel on the now defunct tv show, you know I can't even remember now the title of it, but and all of you who read your books and columns would know: the one with Roma Downey. Della Reese has talked and comforted me just the same way she did with her angel charges. I am sure the angels with all the people and places they have to be and the things they must do are also so overwhelmed they need therapy from one who is very highly sophiscated enough to know how to deal with whatever that angel or their charge should need. I have also had encounters with celebrities, both whom are dead and alive in ways that are classified as the UNKnown. I am now in the midst of reading your book Sylvia, The other side and back and find it very useful and would recommend it for anyone and everyone. And now my wished and prayers go out to the victims of Haiti and other porst of call whom have been victims of Mother Natures' extreme force that they can find their way admist the rubble, ruination and death and poverty towards a brighter day filled with hope good health and vital life of which they have never known before! If we all choose to just open up our hearts and minds to the possiblities of God's love and the Angels love, that guide us and protect us we need to know that they will never let us down! They are not programmed to do such a dastardly thing! good luck and to all and Happy New Year and may your utmost dreams and wished be fulfilled.

My then 9 year old daughter and I were returning from a trip to the mall and it was drizzling outside. It was the middle of winter soI was relieved that it wasn't snowing instead of raining. I took a back road home insteadof a major street when I noticed that the road was very wet. At the same moment I was being grateful that what I was driving on wasn't ice, I started skidding...on black ice. The car did a 180 degree turn and we were sliding towards a huge tree on the side of the road. Things were moving in slow motion and I had the time to tell my daughter to lean towards my side of the car, relax,and that we were going to hit the tree.I knew we weren't going very fast but we would hit it on her side and I was terrified that she would be hurt. Inches from impact I felt someone take the car and slide it around the tree totally avoiding hitting it. My daughter and I looked at each other not believing what just happened.We both knew that it had to be an angel or the hand of God that moved us away from crashing. There is no other explanation.

My husband and I had taken our RV on a trip to the midwest to visit my grandson. It was an extremely windy day and we were traveling on a fast moving expressway. We thought we had the awning on the outside of the RV secured, but before we knew it, we heard this loud "flap flap, flap flap" sound, and so we pulled over in a relatively unsafe area while cars whizzed by us. Our awning had come completely off and was blowing into a nearby field. It was tattered and torn..and even both of us together couldnt get it back up into position again..I was fishing thru my purse to see if I could find the numbers of emergency road services in order to call some help nearby, and kept getting people who told me that the area we were in was out of their jurisdiction to help..After several calls, I was getting pretty frustrated because no one would come to our aid.. All of a sudden, this old, tiny Honda pulled up in front of us. All over the car were peace signs and colorful banners displaying all these causes..This very jovial woman jumped out of the driver's side and ran back to help out. She said she saw us struggling, and figured we could use some help. She wore a coat with a bright colored scarf and her hair blew wildly in the wind like us..She grabbed the unfurled end of the awning and helped my husband secure the entire mechanism back up into the place near the top of the RV where it belonged..Even my husband struggled with that, but she seemed to possess unmatched strength and they got it rolled up and back where it belonged..She said "that should hold it until you get to your campground, just drive slowly.. We thanked her profusely, but she just waved it off..She had no idea where our campground would be nor how many miles until we got there. so how would she know we'd make it to our campground without the awning blowing off again? .Then, I watched, as she climbed back into her old car and took off. Her car vanished from sight in an instant because I watched it go. It started up the highway and then just disappeared into thin air..No one can tell me she wasn't an angel sent from heaven to help us out on a dangerous and busy expressway where cars sped by and where we really could have been hit. I think she knew that and flew to our assistance.We did make it to our campground some 60 miles away, and a camper there helped us secure the awning so it would never fall off again.. Angels do come in disguise to aid us, but when they disappear so quickly, you know it was a heavenly assist!

One night while in bed sleeping with my husband I was awakened by a dark angel like figure standing next to the side of the bed my husband was on. Months later, I was visiting my daughter who was living in an apt. away in colllege. We were sleeping together in her queen size bed when I woke up to see "her" standing next to the bed looking at me. While asking her what she was doing I went to sit up and found as I put my hand on the bed to sit up she was in bed. This "her" looked identical to my daughter. By the time I looked to see my daughter sleeping and then back at the "her" standing next to the bed it was gone. I was wide awake at that time and trying to make sense of what had happened. I also have a son that is 4 years older than my daughter and then miscarried a baby in between having them. In trying to decipher what had happened I wondered if this was the "angel-spirit" of the baby I lost watching over us. This was a few years ago and nothing since then has happened like this.

My angel saved my life as I was going to work. I was headed for the intersection which has three lanes. when I was blinded by this bright white light. I couldn't see a thing and knew I was going to crash. Suddenly it felt like my car was lifted off the road. In a split second the light went away and I could see again.I was acually shaking and had to pull off the road. Thank you angel of mine. I would have been killed and maybe someone else.

Several months ago I was having difficulty sleeping. I kept waking up with strange dreams and fears about our current financial situation. My husband had been working on a home based business and we spent almost everything we had to get thing moving, but every time he came close to closing the deals, something fell through or delayed the process. Well, this night I was truly troubled. It seemed the only way to calm down was to pray over and over asking God to help us through these tough times. Then suddenly I felt a warm glow all around me, I could see nothing but a golden mist all about my body. Somehow I was able to pull myself away from my body and float above it. When I looked down I could see a beautiful angel laying behind me with her golden wing , covering and protecting my body. I suddenly felt very calm and was able to fall asleep. Soon after, my husband closed a deal and all was well. But I will never forget the powerful glow and love of this angel
