When Talking to Your Angels Doesn’t Work
People who hear that I talk to angels sometimes wonder how it works. Quite frankly—I’m not an angel, so I can’t totally understand how it works myself. I just know that it does work. But sometimes it seems that when you talk to your angels—it doesn’t work.
You don’t get what you want: Just like that popular Rolling Stones song “You don’t always get what you want.” Sometimes it seems that you ask your angels for help finding a new car, job, house or a relationship—and no answer seems to come. This can be very frustrating. It can make you wonder if this really can work.
But if you look more deeply at the response you are getting—sometimes there is an actual response in the non-response. Maybe the angels are encouraging you to carpool with a co-worker for awhile. That co-worker could have a brother that owns a car dealership that could get you a really sweet deal on a car. Sometimes the angel messages are not delivered in a neat, tidy package. If you are getting a message that isn’t really the answer you would like—like with the question, “I want a new car,” and the answer, “Carpool with your co-worker,” consider asking some more questions to your angels. See if they can give you some more information!

There is only one God. And He is the one we are to pray to. The Godhead. That is God the Father, God the Son(Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
God performs the miracles and sends out angels. He directs all things and nothing is done that He does not already no about. He was there at the beginning of time and will be there at the end of time. All things are and were created by Him.

To me that sounds a lot like praying and you should never pray to anyone but God. Remember that angels are God's messengers. They arent' genies or fairy godparents. They dont' grant wishes or take requests. God tells us that He will always supply for our needs. It doesn't mean that we will always get what we want. Before you ask God for something, think about if it is really what you need. And what He thinks you need is not always what we think we need. We have to be open to what He has to say.

I can be stubborn. I know that if I don't see an answer I like coming from the angels, I deliberately pretend I don't see it awhile! Yes, it's childish I know and you'd think by now I'd realize the answer won't just change because it's not what I'd hoped for. But eventually I give in and look at it properly, which of course my angels know I will and all turns out as it should. They must chuckle at my antics sometimes!

I wonder if sometimes the answer, or non-answer, you're getting is also part of whatever life lessons you came here to learn. Sometimes we seem to be signing up for experiences that will teach us something (whether we thought we signed up for all of them or not) Some of us seem to be learning patience ;-)

I think sometimes when I pray it is always like asking something God would always provide us of what we are asking for or praying for. I start to ponder on my thoughts and sometimes merely say “thy will be done” but still hopes that my angel would come across of my needs and would be the one to answer my needs or show the answers to my needs and problems. Well I think, God speaks to us in a special way be it with our own angels or God has something greater things for us we’ll just wait for the right time.

I've heard a discussion about this somewhere else and what they were saying is that sometimes we're so busy trying to control the answer that we're not paying attention to the messages we're getting, especially when it's some thing that you want. Maybe you can exactly see the new car you want and you've already figured out some way to get one -- if the angels will just help you. But maybe you'd be better off letting the angels figure out the best way -- like in the example above, maybe they're going to help you meet someone who can get if for you cheaper than the way you had in mind.

Sophie, I think what was meant is that when you ask for a new car, you may hear something you do not want to hear like " Carpool with a co-worker". Angel messages are more often surprising messages that turn out to be just what we need to hear. Maybe while you are car pooling with your co worker, she/he may tell me about a blow out sale going on at a new car dealership at dirt cheap prices.

I have noticed that in my most stressful times when I have the hardest time hearing any answers at all. But also during that time is when my mind is so full of other things that it would be hard for anyone to get in, much less my angel. During these times I feel that meditation and clearing your thoughts completely will work wonders, and you will better be able to hear what you need to hear.
