Is Your Pet On The Other Side?
Pets on The Other Side Psychic Sylvia Browne, World-renowned Psychic Sylvia Browne pictures

by Sylvia Browne

Truly I know that the loss of a pet can be as devastating as the loss of any friend or family member in your life. People always ask me how to find their pet on The Other Side. Please knowwithout a doubtthat your pet will be waiting for you on The Other Side.

I can still remember when I lost my pet dog Jolie. The vet told me that Jolie had congestive heart failure and was not going to live. I held Jolie in my arms as she lay dying. At the very moment she passed, I saw a tremendous swirl of radiant white light. I closed my eyes and then I could see Jolie runningnot walkingthrough the tunnel that leads to The Other Side. In that instant, Jolie was gone and I had witnessed my beloved dog going Home to The Other Side.

Animals are a little different when it comes to facing the tunnel that leads to The Other Side. People sometimes hesitate, but animals never do. This is why there are no animal ghosts. Animals, including pets, go Home to The Other Side when their bodies are resting during life here on earth.

Your pets have loved you, not just during this lifetimebut for an eternity. They unselfishly chose to come here to be specifically with you. Realize that animals do not need to come to earth to learn and experience life as people do.

Our pets from The Other Side often come back to visit with us. They watch over and protect us, just as they did when they were in our homes. You can talk to a pet that is on The Other Side just as you would talk to any loved one who is there.

Pets can understand what we say when we talk to them here on earth and on The Other Side. But here on earth they cannot “speak” to us. They do communicate by wagging a tail or purring. On The Other Side, pets can communicate telepathically. They can communicate thoughts without saying a word.

Your pet is one of the first souls to greet you when you go Home (to heaven). Pets are very eager to reconnect with you once again. Your pets look and act the same as they did on earth. Won’t it be fun to scratch your cat’s ears or rub your dog’s tummy again when you go Home?

Pets are very special souls indeed. This bond is not broken when their time on earth is over. You are always connected to your pet by your love. Your pet will be waiting on The Other Side.

Love always,

Sylvia Browne

Dear Sylvia: We have just lost our dog of 11 1/2 years. He was a four time cancer survivor, and had severe heart valve disease. We knew the end was coming but it was still so difficult to let him go. We told him the other pets that had passed during his life would be waiting for him and that he would enjoy meeting the dog we had before him. He left with his family around him giving him a great big hug. My husband dozed off in the car on the way home and woke with a start. He had seen both dogs sitting together. This said they wanted us to know that they were fine and were together. We miss all of our loving pets and the house seems so empty right now. But we know they visit us. We constantly feel a cat walking across our pillows at night (which the one did all the time) or one laying on my husband's chest at night (another one did that) or my son has felt a cat "scratching" the side of the bed but no one was there. Before the one cat passed over, I told her to come back and "kiss" my check (lick is more the word). That night as I was going to sleep, I felt that sandpaper tongue on my cheek. They definitely do visit us. They are healthy again and can play as they did when they were young and healthy. They are happy. Thank you, Sylvia, for letting us know that we will be with them again.

i lost a lot of my dogs and every time i do, i become really depressed. i love my dogs so much and it hurts to lose them because they have always been there for me and i know they also loved me as much as i have loved them. but i know they are just there looking down and guiding me.

Hi Sylvia, I had a small apricot Bichon frise/poodle mix dog named Sasha, he died about 2 years ago at the age of 19. I bought him when he was a puppy. I also bought an apricot toy poodle for him to have a companion (girlfriend). Her name was Tasha, she died nearing the age of 18. Needless to say I raised Bichon/Poodles. I kept the first born male pup, and named him Josh. He died at the age of 16. He had a younger brother that I named Yash, him being the last born male. He died at the age of 9, of hetolyptic anemia. He was the only one that died away from home, he was in the animal hospital for 3 days before he died. I visited him after work, later that evening he died. I don't think any of them came around after death. I miss them very much, they were the children that I never had. They all had very happy and healthy long lives. I know that one day we will be reunited once again.

Hi Sylvia, I just lost my cat of 20 years. I really believe he was my soul mate. I know that may sound funny to people, but I believe he came to me for a reason. I named him BEAR. He took care of me, it seemed like. He was there for me in all the times of my life, and I feel so lost with out him now. He came to me right after he passed away, he was younger and could jump up on the bed again. I think he wanted to show me that he was okay again. And now I feel him curled around my heart, waiting for me. It is a comfort to me in many ways to feel that, but I do miss looking at him and holding him and talking to him and hearing him talk to me in his funny loud voice. He was very bossy, but I liked that about him. He was in charge of all the other cats, they seem lost with out him now too. Sometimes I feel a weight on my legs at night, I think it's him coming to sleep on my legs like he used to while I watched TV. The other morning the TV turned on all by itself just as I was thinking about him, I think he did that, to confirm that he's still with me. He was an amazing cat, I really believe he was here for me, and he's still here for me, I just can't see him. That is a thing to get used to.

I have a cat Midnight that disapeared last July and I don't know if he is alive or dead. Can you feel anything to let me know if he is in good care, alive or dead. To this day I can rest because I need to know. I had him since he was a baby until he disappeared. Thanks.

Hi Sylvia, This is so sweet... I always new that our sweet little friends were totally devoted to use even after they have gone home, I call all my animals (Angels in fur)... That is what my Mom always says. I lost my sweet cat Spook in 96 & my loving dog Sheba in 2005 Both of them came back to me to let me know they were happy. My cat showed up at the end of our coffee table the same day he went home... I was laying on the couch crying & for some reason I looked at my coffee cup that was steaming with a fresh cup of tea... I saw my cats tail going by... it was curled a little at the top towered his back...that means a cat is content. A few months later I was in my living room with my Mom & she asked me where that meowing was coming from... I listened & walked towards our back door, the meowing got louder ... it was coming from the door on the outside... I opened the door, it was like a cat came in still meowing as if it was trying to tell me something. The meowing was going up towards the bedrooms, that is where my cat spook would sleep with me. I honestly believe that was him, he came back & was telling me he was happy. I got all teary & told him I was so happy he was home with God & my brother & that I was grateful he came to tell me. I said Spook I love you baby Thank you. That was the last I heard from him. Then my Dog Sheba... she went home in May of 95... that year we were posted to Alberta Canada... my husband was in the Army. I was still so very sad not to have my Sheba with me... I did have her ashes & brought them with me in the car the whole trip. About 3/4 months after Sheba was gone... I had a dream that I was looking out our back door towards the right where there is a field... Sheba was standing there... I went running towards her... I got to hug her & her tail was moving so happily... we played & I watcher her run so fast all over the place... them she would roll & push herself with her back legs like she use to, I was always hugging her & patting her, I could feel her & her fur was so soft. I remember sitting on the grass with her & just telling her things... she kept looked up at me. She always looked up at me when we would go for long walks & I would talk away to her. Then I stood up & she looked at me... I know she was telling me she had to go, I felt so sad I didn't want to lose this happy feeling I had again, I also new she was happy & free, no more pain. Sheba was 16.5 when she went home... Her back legs we so very weak & was hard for my girl to walk. That dream told me that she made it home. I always new she did, that morning when I woke up I looked at my hands & could still feel her on them; you know when you pat an animal for awhile... that's what I felt as if it were just moments ago. AMAZING!
