Who is Mother God?

by Sylvia Browne

Many have heard me talk about Father God and Mother God. But they are unsure about exactly who this Mother God is and what she does! I am happy to offer a bit of an explanation to you.

There has always been a Mother God and a Father God. Mother God has been around just as long as the belief in angels and long before our belief in reincarnation. Some religions and cultures have given Mother God a different name—but that does not mean that Mother God is someone else. She has been called Sophia, the goddess of wisdom, by Gnostic tradition. She has also been called Theodora, the fertility goddess—who is mentioned in ancient holy texts. Mother God has also been called Isis by the ancient Egyptians.

You can call on Mother God for healing and also for protection. She is always ready to come to your comfort and aid.

Have you ever called on Mother God? Now that we have talked about Mother God….please let us know if you do call upon her!

Sylvia Browne is without question, "America's #1 Psychic," an internationally known psychic and medium.

Oh, thank you for making it clear Melvin. Well, it is true, there is only one God. and i do worship only our God. I always call Him whenever i need help, guidance, love and support. and i also don't forget to thank Him for everything.

Maylin I think they are different. In my own belief I believe Mother God is the church itself. Because a lot of times on sermons the church refer to as a wife, or a lady so maybe she's the Mother God. I do agree in Green. Their is only one God and I don't think there will be another one.

I have never called on Mother God. In my religion we only believe in one God and one God only. He is the only one we ask for help and the only one we worship. Also we believe that we all have a direct connection with God the supreme being and that you do not need to go through anyone to pray to and talk to God.

Is Mother God the same with Mother Mary? Or are they different? There are times when i also call for help and talk to our Mother God. For me being spiritually active is very important. I talk to God everyday and it has really a very good effect in my life.

I agree Alpha. And i think that it has no difference whether you ask for God or our Mother God's help. They are both protectors, healers and they love us truly. So if we ask help to any of them, i am sure that they will help us.

Wow, thank you for the info Dorothy. I will try to read that bible. Yes, maybe our Mother God id like the tree, without her, there will be no stems, leaves and fruits. Thank you for the additional knowledge.

I think that some of us find it sometimes easier to talk to someone we see in our mind as a Mother figure. Sometimes a Father figure works better for whatever problem we're working on. But I think that these are only sides of the same God -- like a coin has two sides.

If you own a King James version of the Bible, you can read that without HER nothing would have been made. It's there, you just have to read it. Just like a tree has roots, trunk, limbs and leaves, all being one being, a tree, yet all separate and each one as importaint as the other, She is God, Mother God the root of life.
