Who is Mother God?
by Sylvia Browne
Many have heard me talk about Father God and Mother God. But they are unsure about exactly who this Mother God is and what she does! I am happy to offer a bit of an explanation to you.
There has always been a Mother God and a Father God. Mother God has been around just as long as the belief in angels and long before our belief in reincarnation. Some religions and cultures have given Mother God a different name—but that does not mean that Mother God is someone else. She has been called Sophia, the goddess of wisdom, by Gnostic tradition. She has also been called Theodora, the fertility goddess—who is mentioned in ancient holy texts. Mother God has also been called Isis by the ancient Egyptians.
You can call on Mother God for healing and also for protection. She is always ready to come to your comfort and aid.
Have you ever called on Mother God? Now that we have talked about Mother God….please let us know if you do call upon her!

so, it has been really a long time that Mother God has been known to be a protector and a healer. I guess in my life, i have not yet heard about Mother God, just this time. that is maybe because in our religion, Mother God has never been mentioned in our church. but i am glad that this article helped me to gain more knowledge.

I have not tried calling nor asking help to our Mother God. Because i was not really aware of our Mother God. But this article gave me additional knowledge. And it made me realize that we can not only ask for protection and healing from God but also to our Mother God as well.

God has always been our protector and savior. But i believe that Mother God can also be our protector and can give us healing. whether it is physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. it doesn't matter whom you call for guidance because i believe that God has many instruments and that He will help us through His other instruments when we need Him or them.

Well Melvin, i think Mother God is a girl. Hehe. I really do not also know if Mother God is the Mother of our God or is She Mother Mary? But since it was told here that there is Mother God, i will believe this and i will still try to pray to Her and ask for help when i need healing.

I think it both relates to God the Creator simply because of healing. I don't think there is any other godly character that can heal people's problem physically and spiritually. With your question in the last paragraph I say yes, I always do call for the healing

It is said here that Mother God helps in healing. God also helps in healing. Right? So i think asking for both of their help will really be more effective. Their powers are really strong especially when combined. So let us always ask for their help and guidance.

Before I had heard of Mother God, I always felt a motherly figure near me even though I spoke to God. Anytime I asked if there was a mother, I was told not to talk that way or question such things. Of course I have always been the one in my family to always question and truly believe that it was okay with God thats why we were given free will. As an adult I often speak mainly to Father God just because of habit but I have tried speaking to Mother God on occasion- now that I know it is okay. I feel like this blog has given me a reminder of her and I truly pray that I can get used to acknowleding Mother God. Thank you

Like St. Joseph, will Mother God help with the sale of a house, i.e. show the buyer(s) the way. I learned of Mother God on your last webcast and was amazed in all religious lessons and sermons, no priest has ever spoken of her. And, didn't you say after praying to Mother God to allow five to ten days for a response? You are delightful, Sylvia, as are your books.

I'm still confused. I always believe that mother God and father God are just the same. Of course I always seek for the help of Him. My Dad is over overseas so the thing that I always ask Him is for the safety of my beloved Dad
