Do All Pets Go To Heaven?

by Sylvia Browne

Anyone that knows me truly knows just how important my pets have been over the years. The loss of a beloved pet can hit you just as deeply as the loss of just about anyone else in your life. Our pets are our beloved companions and friends—they are always by our side, ready to listen.

Many people have asked me if their pets really do go to heaven. If animals are on The Other Side. They are always relieved to discover that the answer is "yes." You will be reunited with your pet on The Other Side when you go Home. They will meet you and they will be as lively and as full of personality as they ever were when you step out of the Tunnel.

My new book All Pets Go To Heaven: The Spiritual Lives of the Animals We Love is coming out January 2009. In this book I discuss just how spiritual animals truly are. Some may not realize this, but animals need to learn no spiritual lessons: they actually come to Earth just to live their lives with us. When you think about it, it is so meaningful to know that your pet is here only to live their life with you. Animals are pure and their hearts are full of love.

My dog Sara had to be put down because she was very sick in Nov/07 I had never experienced a loss as much as I did with her. I had her since she was a puppy. She was an alpha dog and as I said to my friends she was the dog from hell the first two years. I loved that dog more than any person. It was 4 months before I was able to adjust without her. To help me get through I would visualize us going for a walk on the beach both of us healthy that would get me to sleep at night. When I went to your seminar in march 08 I saw a lady with a dog there. later while waiting for my ride she came by me and I reached out and petted the dog. Right then I new I was going to get another dog. Because I am diaabled I thought I would get one that was 2 or 3 years old because of the training involved. But I saw the cutest little puppy on the intenet. She is the exact opposite of Sara who was 75 lbs. Samantha was only 5 lbs when I got her. She loves to be around me wherever I am in the apartment. She sits on my lap when I watch tv. Im thinking that maybe Sara sent this dog to me to help me and that we will all be together on the other side with the other dogs I have had. Reading your books and listening to your tapes has helped me not be afraid of dieing and that it is something to look forward to whenever it happens. So I want to thank you for teaching me that the life I have here is what I chose and it helps to know I am learning much from it all.

Hi Sylvia! Just got back from you I Can Do It cruise to Mexico. That was my first time to see you in person! It was awesome would do it again! I love my animals. I have 7 horses, 10 dogs, I raise Euro Russell and Shorty Jack Russells, a Ring Neck Parakeet named Isis, and various farm cats. I have always been drawn to animals. I have some depression now and then. If I did not have them in my life I would probably not come out of those days that I was down. Even though I raise and sell dogs for a profit I find that I receive more joy finding a loving home for my puppies. It warms my heart to heart from people that are so happy with their new family member. I have taken a less money or given a puppy away just because I know that person needs it more than I need the money. My animals are my little bit of heaven here on earth.

My beloved cat Myky, whom I had for 18 years, died in August of 2004 and I watched him be put to sleep. It was important that I was the last person he saw, that he understood that I was there and that I loved him so very much. :( No pet should ever die alone. Let he or she know you're there, so they'll remember you when you get to heaven.

Sorry, i hit the button too soon, as i was saying I created a deck of oracle cards and I was not looking to put mother Azna in there, I hadn't even thought of it,but for some reason out of nowhere she snuck in there, initially it was just 'mother natures most powerful tree, oak. I am truly amazed how she is coming into her own, I shall be doing holisitc reading with these cards in Portsmouth, UK at the Spiritual Connextions in september and I am very excxited to be having azna accompany me. Sylvia, I've been reading your books for about 10 years now. I had an out-of-body experience at age 14 (I'm 54 now). I didn't understand it then but you have made it so clear to me now. Thank you so much for telling us all the truth about the meaning of life and what it's like on the Other Side. I also love animals. I have a cat named Mandy who is 6 years old now. She's been with me though some very tough times with my health, and I couldn't imagine life without her. It's wonderful to know that our pets will be there to greet us when we pass over to the Other Side. I also totally agree with you that animals are innocent and always give us unconditional love. Sometimes I have to admit I like animals better than humans! LOL! The world is a much better place with all of God's creatures. It makes me very sad and upset to know that some people neglect and mistreat animals. I love all of your books but I'm really looking forward to your book about animals. I know it will be one of your most popular books. Again, thanks, and God Bless You! Lots of Love, Nancy

Sylvia, Thank you so much for all the love you give us. You have made such a difference in my life. I lost my wonderful beautiful Elke, I haven't been able to find her. Will I ever see her again?

i feed, love and share life with about 21 cats. i name them all and they dont leave my house vicinity after they realize they will be fed and accepted as they are by me. my question is how did it get to this...did God have a plan for me to serve and feed his little angels. i feel so obligated to them like its my job to take care of them. WHY?
