Crystal that was an amazing story about the cat and the eggs. It was like the cat was sent to save your family. If your mom had been unkind and shooed the cat away, something terrible might have happened because you would know the eggs were bad. That is why it is important to be kind to our animals

I am glad that this article has really gave our pets importance. this helped us to realize that even pets can go to heaven and that they are also loved by God. I really love animals and i am very thankful for this article.

Just like your Crystal, i also treat my pets as part of my family. and their death will really make me grieve for weeks.. it hurts to lose a pet. it is also just like losing someone you love like a family member. but i believe that our pets really go to heaven and God will take good care of them, like what you have mentioned in your story.

I agree again Crystal. Some pets are really more intelligent than some people. And it is true that it is also because of what we teach that will help our pets to be what they are. so if we know how to treat them right and teach them what is right, then they will come out as what we expect them to be.

That is an interesting story Crystal. Now i know it is true that a death of pets can really save a life. like in your experience, it was the chickens and cat who died. you and your mom might have died or got sick if your pets was not involved in this. let us just be thankful that even if we lost our pets, our lives were saved by them..

One more thing about animals going to Heaven. My mom has always loved animals more than anything. Growing up, her dogs were just about her only friends. When one of her dogs died that she had raised from a pup and she had had for simply years, she got really depressed and was praying about it. It was really botherng her to think that she may not ever see that dog again. that night she dreamed about the most beautiful place she had ever seen. Her grandparents were there, and her dad that had passed away, and she saw this little dog running through a feild comeing toward her and it looked so happy and was so excited. When she woke up, she had such an incredible sense of peace upon her. She felt certain that God was showing her that she would indeed see her dear little friend again. The Bible tells us that we will ahve the desires of our hearts there. And having our loving and loyal little companions with us is certainly going to be part of that.

I also want you to know that different people have different takes on what is the soul and what is the spirit, so what you call the soul, and I call the spirit is probably the same thing. We are just using a different term. I look at it like this. What makes us different is that we know right and wrong so explicitly. We have morals. And animals have instinct. Not that they dont' act morally. Some animals are much better people than a lot of people I know! But most animals act on what they have been taught and know. If they are trained to be mean and viscious, it isnt' their fault. It is the fault of the person that taught them to be that way.

I do believe that sometimes an animal will die to save the lives of someone else. When I was a girl, we had our own chickens that we raised. WEll, my dad had put out some tick crystals out in the wooded area beyond our yard a ways, and some of the chickens out out and got into them. We didnt' really think that much about it. We rounded them up and got them back in thier pen. The next morning a black cat showed up and it was so skinny and looked hungry. Well, mom felt sorry for it, and we didn't have anything to give it,so mom went out to the hen house and collected all the eggs. She cooked a couple of them up, and gave them to the cat. the rest she put in the fridge. By that evening the cat had died, and my mom had a bad feeling about it. She wouldnt' let anyone eat those eggs. The next day some of the chickens started to die. Mom was really upset that that cat had died, especially that she had fed it the eggs, but she felt like it showed up at the house for a reason and that by it eating those eggs, it kept us from eating them and getting very sick or worse.

and sometimes pets will die to help you get out from a bad situation. for example, before, my son got really sick and the next day, my pet died, and my son got better. i really don't get it but i believe that a pet's life can save another life.
